Has anyone just returned from Spoodles??

I've been reading about menu change, and I really need to know what's on the new menu. We have PS's for September based on the Allears menu, but if it's changed that much, I might want to re-consider. Any help (or even a copy of the new menu) would be great!

There's a thread where we took notes from everyone and sort of put it all together and summarized. The Gnocchi and the Porkchop were eliminated assuming what everyone said was correct. But the Gnocchi can be had by asking for vegetarian. The rest remain.

Of the appetizers, all the dips were still there as were the shrimp.
The Fried Calimari and the Mussels were eliminated.
That's assuming all the reports we got in the two threads were accurate.
There's one or two we really got no info on.

Of the deserts, the sorbet remains, and we really didn't get much information about whether any of the others remain or were eliminated.

I can't be sure but one diner said there were only about 6 things. SO I doubt it. I have to call for a ressie tomorrow so I'll just find out then and get back ya.

Please tell me the gnocchi and the mussels haven't been eliminated. They were 2 of the three reasons we wanted to try it. Is the paella still there? The gnocchi was the only thing I liked on the menu and couldn't wait to try it! I may have to cancel Spoodles and try somewhere else.

Since I am the decision maker on the dining plan itinerary, I had mad ADR'S to spoodles after hearing all the wondeful comments made by other Disers....


I just decided not to take any chances and canceled our reservation. Since we are leaving fairly soon I just didn't want to risk not having any other dining options once we got there. Tried to get le Cellier for aug 2nd for 6......no luck. Since I absolutely love the Italian pavillion at WS, I settled for Alfredo's. I hope everyone enjoys it.

there is definitely alot of pressure when you are the decision maker...picking a place that everyone will get something they like is no easy task.

The Gnocchi has changed and can be had by asking for vegetarian choices. . It's served with vegatables now rather than the Mushroom medley listed on all ears.

Of the starters, only the Mussels and Fried Calimari are gone.

Not all that much of a change to worry about really. I really did want to try the mussels though.

Thanks for checking on this! It doesn't sound like much of a change, so we'll keep our PS's. I really wanted to try the gnocchi, and I like veggies too, so I'm sure it will be fine. I bet they'd add shrimp or something like it says on the allears menu. It's Disney after all....they try to accomodate to make everyone happy! LOL
