Has anyone had experience with...Broadway travel. We have just booked flights with them - £299 Manchester to Sanford for September 2008.
I know I should have asked you guys before I booked them:rolleyes:  if anyone had used them or heard anything about them (good & bad please) but I had telephoned a few operators and no-one came close to beating or matching this price. One lady I spoke to said "stop wasting your money and time and just book the flights with this company as we can't even buy them for that price"
So all I want to know is if anyone has used them and what they were like?
Cheers
Linda

We used them a few years ago on our winter trips to Spain. We never had any problems (I can't remember that exact flight- so it couldn't have been bad). Sorry I can't be more helpful. I looked at them for the Crowne Plaza part of this coming trip and they were cheaper than everywhere (except hotelopia when you used the 10% code taking it down to under £30 a night). I don't think you will have any problems.

Hope that helps until someone else can give you more insight.

Thanks nobodies36,
It helps knowing someone has used them and they were ok. We haven't booked our hotel yet but, have looked at Crowne Plaza. It would be great if you would let me know how you enjoy your stay there in September.
I also noticed you have already been in September -how did you find this...weather,wait times etc.
Cheers:) :thumbsup2 :)

We used them last sumer to go to WDW and again at Easter to go to portugal. They were excellent. We flew MyTravel with them to FLA.

I think September is great. When we were there last year, I didn't even know about free dining and yet I felt the parks were less crowded than June and we got a walk up to Rose & Crown. I found the weather great, the love bugs extremely annoying, glad about staying onsite to utilize EMH, but missed late closes and all the summer shows (especilly Shamu Rocks America)- hence trying to go June next year.

Universal was pretty dead and SW was about the same as June (Only went to BG in September so can't compare). Only time Universal was busy was at HHN.

Wait times- I can't comment too much since we have to use a GAC/GAP and were NEVER at the parks early (sadly not possible due to health). But I didn't think the fastpass lines were bad at all and at 12noon-3pm when we arrived/by the time we got something to eat drink when we got it, etc., there were still plenty of fastpasses for 2-5pm.

I'll let you know how the Crowne Plaza Universal is.

Wellllll,,, sorry not to be positive, but I used Broadway last year in July, staying at the Grosvenor resort and I had a few problems.. apparently, Broadway refused to pay the hotel the correct amount of tax for the holiday and I got a nasty shock a month after getting home, my credit card bill showed up a $200 charge from the hotel, many international calls later, I find out that it was broadway who refused to pay and so the hotel charged me for it. I did end up getting my money back eventually from my cc provider, Broadway would not have anything to do with it despite threatening them with ABTA. On a positive note, the flights were fine, so if you have only booked a flight with them, I wouldn't worry :)

That sounds an excellent price and I would book .Who are you flying with?It may be a no frills flight but if you don't mind that then as long as you get there you can spend the extra cach on other things.

good luck.

Expedia had some great deals this year on accomodation only. The royal plaza was only £35 a night and it is a gorgeous hotel.

Had a bit of a problem with ticket delivery when I used Broadway two years ago.
After lots of phone calls and being told they had already sent two sets of tickets, they arrived recorded delivery Friday lunchtime for a flight at 11:30 the next day!
If you get the chance of electronic tickets go for it, it will save some fretting.

The flights were OK, our return flight was cancelled at the airport, but we were put onto a Travel City Direct flight which left ten minutes before our allocated flight which was with XL. So that worked out well.

As with most things you get what you pay for.
