Has anyone gottn an e-mail about spyware/adware...

and offering a program to delete them out of your computer's hard drive? I got one but in order to get more information I was suppose to click on the link. I'm afraid to do that in case it's bogus and I get more junk on my hard drive. Is this a legitimate e-mail?

I wouldn't click on the link. Adaware by Lavasoft is pretty nice freeware that detects spyware. You can download it directly from their site.
