We've seen Cirque du Soleil twice and loved it..... I was just wondering if anyone has gone to one of the travelling shows....? They will be in Mpls. this fall and I am trying to decide if it would be worth it... Any thoughts would be appreciated... Thanks! :wave2:

We saw Alegria two summers ago when it was in town. It was my very first Cirque show and I fell in love with it! I bought the soundtrack and listen to it all the time!!!

We then saw La Nouba and of course, compared it to Alegria. Alegria won because of the music mostly and it wasn't as "weird". Although we still like La Nouba!

Last summer we saw Quidam when it came to town and it was really good but I still think Alegria was the best (maybe since it was my first! :goodvibes )

You can't go wrong really, they are all really amazing shows! After Alegria, we talked our parents into going to see Quidam this past summer and they fell in love with it too!!!

Enjoy whatever show you see!

I have seen Varekai when it passed through, it was awesome! I love the way they still put up a circus tent for their venue instead of building shop in an arena. Also, I thought that the clown act in this production was extremely funny, just pure humor, no black comedy with the main comedy acts. They are going to be travelling through columbus in August and we are planning to go see it again!

I've seen La Nouba, O, Mystere, Dralion(traveling) and Quidam(traveling). Although the 2 traveling shows were good, they do not compare, in my opinion, to being in one of their theaters. Mystere is still by far my favorite, maybe because it was the first that I've seen, and I've seen it 3 times. I would probably still go to one though.

I saw Verekai last year and I really liked it. Very well done and I would go to another traveling show.

We saw Dralion several years ago when it came through Houston. It was very good! Tho' I don't think they could have even squeezed 1 more seat
into the theater(tent). Definately a feeling of togetherness with strangers.
LOL

We've also seen O and Mystere in Vegas, with O being my fav. (Also prolly
because it was the first I saw).

If you've got a chance to go, GO!

Yes!!! Vareki (sic) & Drallion both in a tent in the United Center parking lot. Both were fantastic. I have been to O, La Nouba, and Mystere non traveling shows too. I think they are fabulous and so does my DH, DS & DD. The tent they construct is awesome! You would never know it was a tent once you were inside. The first one was on a really hot august night in chicago and I thought I would be miserable but it was cool & very comfortable. If any of the traveling shows come to a city near you GO you won't regret it. :flower:

We saw Dralion and got the VIP package which included snacks, drinks, and a free gift. It was really nice. I loved the show as well. I plan to see "O" in Vegas. I've also seen Mystere at Treasure Island in Vegas and Zumanity (which was weird). We don't really have time to see La Noubla this trip but hope to one day :)
