Has anyone ever tried the AB Coaster???

Ok so I am so tempted to buy the AB Coaster. I have seen it in Retail stores and have tried out it for about a minute. It seems like it is a great machine that would work for me but it costs about $400. Anyone use it and find that it works great for them??? How fast did you see results from it?? Thanks!!

We have an ab coaster elite at our gym and I really like it. I'm not sure if it's the same as you're looking at though.

Yeah i think it is the same thing. You sit your knees on top and kids rock back and forth in an arch motion. Does it work well???

I'm sure its effective, but it's not something I would spend $400 on. There are hundreds of ways to work your abs without having to spend money on the latest gadgets and gizmos.

It sounds like the same thing but I agree with JMD. I do 2 sets of 20 reps; right, left and forward. You have to use your abs, almost like an upright crunch; if you use your arms or the momentum, it loses it's effectiveness. It only takes 10-15 mins. $400 is a lot to spend for 15 mins a day.

It likely DOES work, yes, because it is causing you to isolate your ab muscles.

I would opt for a Swiss ball. $12 and same effect.

It will work to the extent it will isolate your abdominal muscles. But you still need to make sure your body fat levels are low enough so that your abs are visable.
