Has Anyone Ever Seen A Celebrity In Wdw

I saw Dan Marino, and Mariah Carey when I worked at WDW.

Now I live in the "new Hollywood of the south" so I randomly see celebs around. Josh Brolin (DH was in W. with him) and Katie Holms are the big ones.

You must live in or around Shreveport, La. I'm in West Monroe!

Sure, I see Mickey Mouse every time I go. :)

I have never seen a celebrity, but honestly I have never looked either. I saw Steven Curtis Chapman narrate CP, but that has been it.

I am not wowed by celebrities, so I am not sure I would even notice. ;)

Nice one... We also love seeing Mickey Mouse, my kids really love and appreciate it than seeing celebrities. :rotfl:

Sorry, but that quote is getting a little old:rolleyes: Yes, we all are fortunate enough to see Mickey, Minney, Donald, etc. but I will admit, I too enjoy looking for the television, music, movie celebrities when I am there. There is after all only one Disneyworld, so many are bound to visit at one time or another. I really enjoy the pictures some post as well. Not all celebrities act like they do not want to be acknowledged or photographed. If you search through the boards enough you will see some happily posing with families.

I was reading a post and it got me thinking that this would be a neat Thread to start.....

Let us know what famous person / celebrity that you ran into at any of the WDW parks.

Not where they were scheduled to do a performance but they were just there on vacation with family/friends.

We will start - we ran into Joey Fatone and Lance Bass a few years back just walking around the park. It was after Nsync stopped making CD's but before Dancing with the Stars.

We went in the early eighties and when we got home and looked at our pictures Louise Mandrell was standing next to us.

Not in the parks but last year I ran into Brad Garrett (Robert from Everybody Loves Raymond) at the World of Disney store in NYC. I overheard a CM saying he was in the store while I was waiting for my son to come out of the bathroom. The world of Disney Store is 4 floors so we went on every floor looking for him. At first we did not see him and we were ready to leave and my younger son spotted him. He was shopping with his daughter. I was with my 2 boys and I told him that we were big fans of his and he shook our hands. At first he did not seem like he wanted to talk to us but when I told him we were big fans he was very nice. We left him alone after that. :cool1:

Loralie

We saw Kelly Ripa with her kids and a tour guide last summer-

Not at WDW but at DL we have seen...

"Rico" from Hannah Montana (Funny bc he was also on our Disney Cruise with his family the week before, DD got a pic with him on the cruise but was too shy to go say anything to him at DL)
Kobe Bryant
Russell Simmons
Resse Witherspoon
"17 and Counting" Family

huuummmmm, I know there are more but I am drawing a blank!

I guess in CA we have an unfair advantage as we are close to "Hollywood"

I also saw Russell Simmons at The Wave at the Contemporary in September. Apparently he does business there pretty frequently.

Oh one more I forgot from DCA...Bridgette and Holly from The Girls Next Door. Here is a pic of DH meeting Holly. He looks so HAPPY! Too funny! :rotfl: The were both super sweet though and happy to take pictures with all who asked for them. We saw them on the Sun Wheel but this picture was taken waiting to eat at Ariels Grotto. Holly is a HUGE Disney fan! The dl sweatshirt she is wearing is one that she frequently wears in her interviews on the show.

President Carter twice on the same trip in 2003. Once in the MK at the evening parade and the next day in the AK at the entrance to the Safari ride. We talked briefly to him in the MK.

We had dinner next to :worship: Roy Disney :worship: at Flying Fish one night. I was sitting next to Disney Royalty. Of course that was the night my little one decided to act up and I had to keep leaving the restaurant. :headache:

Princess Diana.

She was a wonderfully gracious lady. In a werid coincidence, We were also at Disney when she passed away.

Not sure of his name, but we saw the actor who plays Angela Bassetts husband on ER on NYE at the MK. We were standing right next to him and I was able to catch him on tape.:thumbsup2

Both at Disneyland:

My wife got Cal Ripken Jr.'s autograph on her Autopia license.

I stood in line behind Pierce Brosnan in Pieces of Eight---we were both buying swords for our kids.
