I just checked, and I get the same screen. I wonder if someone screwed up the AM/PM on the CrD registration deadline time?

It shows up for me, I can get all the way to the pay now page (not registering so don't know what would happen if I tried to pay)

It looks like my platinum renewal was in early May 2025, so memberships may open to new members in May this year, if runDisney continues the same pattern.

Today was just further confirmation I'm never letting this go! I was trying to help a friend with some extra queues and didn't have anything below an hour until 2 minutes before the final race sold out.

I emailed about a week ago to ask about 2027 membership and got an utterly useless reply :

"We appreciate your interest in a Club runDisney membership.

Regrettably, membership registration has concluded for the 2026 race season and we are not accepting new members. Furthermore, memberships are non-refundable, therefore a waitlist is not available. We apologize for any disappointment this may cause.

Our 2027 Club runDisney memberships and renewals have not yet been officially announced, and we do not have any further information regarding the details of these memberships at this time."

I will also be hanging on to my Platinum for the foreseeable future. I used my early registrations to get the 10K and Half and was in the scrum for the 5K this morning. Thankfully one of my dozen windows got a 28 minute queue not long after it opened, so I was able to register myself, DH and two friends while I was in there.

Will be curious to see how this shakes out but I wouldn't be surprised if CrD is more competitive for 2027. That's two races in a row where it certainly feels like there were a lot more sour grapes over missing out and more people asking how they can sign up for CrD. I've been very lucky for the last few registrations but this one had me wondering if it might be worth the peace of mind.

On the other hand, anyone who joined for the DL races and don't do the WDW races... maybe they'll bail? Not sure how big that group is though.

I know we're crazy for paying extra to be able to register and pay more but boy does it feel worth it for these last few weekends. I wanted in to the 5k this morning but I'm not that upset I missed it since I was already in for the 10k and half.

I definitely signed up for club originally to help with DL races since I'm on the West Coast but now that those are gone for the foreseeable future, I'm pivoting to WDW races. I wouldn't say I only signed up for DL but it was a large reason why I did, especially since I was shut out of the 2024 Halloween 5k and went the charity route for that one.

Definitely grateful to have gold status at the moment. I tried to register my wife this morning for Dopey, Goofy, or the marathon. Completely struck out. Fortunately, her friend was able to get in and added my wife to her registration. I will try to upgrade to platinum in the off chance we decide to do wine and dine or princess one year. Our main goal is to get my wife on gold going forward.
