I have a plain black -boring-suitcase that I use for every Disney trip and I have been thinking about sprucing it up with Mickey shapes in my favorite bright colors. My plan was to make a stencil using the Home Depot paint chip as the shape and trace it out onto a piece of plastic to use as the stencil. I'm just not real sure what type of paint would be best to use considering the wear and tear. I saw a show on TV last year where this woman painted laungerie coming out of her suitcase (it was really something!) and she used acrylic paint. Has anyone done this and does anyone have any suggestions as to what type of paint I should use or the best way to seal the paint if I use acrylics?
I welcome any and all ideas and suggestions.
Thanks,
Shannon
