Has anyone ever met Pete Werner?

I have always been curious about this man I would love to meet him and thank him for the WONDERFUL service provided to all of us.

There are some days when everything sucks and I can come here and laugh.

So, Mr Werner, if by chance you should read this,

Thanks for all you do!

Y'know, Pete spoke with me briefly by phone just before we joined DVC, and he allayed some of the concerns we had (and he was right, DVC rocks...)

But....... there was always that faint 'click' on the line just before he would reply each time...

I've met Pete on a couple of occasions. The biggest surprise was when I found out that he was on a 7-day Disney cruise with us. I found him up on deck 9 at the adult pool. My wife and I had a great time hearing about future plans for Dreams Unlimited. It was a highlight of our cruise.

I've met Poohlovr. But I hadn't met Pete yet. So I don't count Sue. But I'm sure that SideshowBob has met Pete. And I know that you've met him (since you are archrivals).

One of my favorite memories of my Mom and how intuitive she was was one night that Pete called me at home and she took a message. She told me later that a "white man with lots of money, very intelligent, in his mid thirties, called...."

I shared this with Pete and we had a BIG laugh!!!!

Oh, and the answer is yeah, but better than that, he spoke to my MOM!

Or a "Where's Pete?" like Where's Waldo? Someone could post his picture among thousands of pictures of other people and the person who finds him first wins.

I met Pete at a DIS meet at WDW in December of 1999. Dan Murphy was also at the meet. They are good people.

During the same trip we shared an Illuminations pontoon trip with another nice person, Deb Wills

Back in the olden days when there was only one board you got to "talk" to Pete quite frequently.

I met someone who met him, does that count? She went to the first original DIS meet.

Course, I've also met Pumba and NativeTexan for about a minute each.

I bet one of them has met Pete, too.
