Has anyone ever had a problem.......

with the resorts holding their luggage?

We will be checking in early, leaving our luggage, and heading to the parks. We will also be checking out on time, but leaving our luggage behind and staying until the parks close.

I truly believe in the "Disney Magic" but I know that can't cover everything. I was wondering if anyone had ever had anything stolen from their luggage or even had their luggage tampered with.

We will be taking most of our valuables with us, like wallets and cameras and stuff. But we can't carry all the souvenirs around with us on the last day. Do I need to go buy a good set of locks or will the little lock set I already have on there be enough?

Just hoping for some feedback....I don't want to spend my last day at Disney worrying about my luggage!

Nope... we check our luggage almost everytime we go to WDW... only twice has our room been ready on our arrival (1993 at Dixie Landings and 2002 at the Contemporary.) The luggage storage has gone very smoothly, and if you need something from your luggage in the meantime, there is no problem retrieving it. Our luggage has always been delivered to our room within 30 minutes of us getting there. We have also stored our luggage many times on the day of check out with no problems whatsoever. Have a great time, and don't sweat the small stuff!

I have a zippered tote bag that usually holds my souvenirs. I usually put any breakables in the tote since this is what I carry on the plane. I can't really lock this tote. I have left it with luggage storage many times including my last trip this past August and have never had a problem.

Glad to hear that no one has had a problem. I am such a worry wart that I would have spoiled a good day in the parks worrying about this!

We have left our bags at the bellman's storage every trip (10+) locked and unlocked, at several different resorts and we have never had a problem, We have even left things like cameras and camcorders, so I don't think you will have any problems
