We live about 50 miles from a place called Lilydale. It's in Cassadaga, New York.
I live about 15 minutes from here--- I have seen a few mediums and psychics. Anyhow- I have seen one at Lilydale that was incredible. I had no appointment, just walked up, so there is no way she could researched me or anything.
Anyhow, she was a very old and frail women-- she didn't want me to talk. I was alittle freaked out- but she kept holding and rubbing my hands. Then she began writing all sorts of "phrases on paper". Anyhow--she was so accurate. She gave me the paper which had names and incidents written down on it. She then went on to explain these things. I was alittle freaked out by just how correct she was. Not only did she give me complete first names, but she also would give that person's relationship to me. I didn't speak more than 10 words to this women when she came up w/ all this.
She told me my DH's grandmother (she mostly raised him) was there w/ us-- and keeping an eye on him. She told me that he was going to require more surgery on his leg-- she kept stressing his leg not his knee. I kept thinking it really meant his knee He had been in a car accident the year before and was set to have knee surgery in a few weeks. Anyhow, 6 months later he had to have bone grafting to his leg because the bones that didn't heal were "dying". This was unplanned.
She seen me "changing jobs". I didn't see this at all-- as I was happy in my job and had been there for 5 years. 8 weeks later-- I changed jobs unexpectedly. I got an offer I couldn't refuse from another physician and went to work for her.
She told me about the 3 children I had lost in 2 miscarriages-- One was a set of twins. She couldn't of known about these!! She also told me I was going to have more children. However, it would be after some "health issues" and in the end I'd be okay and then have more children. Anyhow, I had been struggling w/ secondary infertility for several years at this point. Taking many infertility drugs-- then I had a bad pap smear. After biopsies I was told that it was carcinoma in situ-- basically cancer cells that are very "young" and non-aggressive. So, it was caught way early and I had surgery to remove 50% of my cervix. This was 2 years ago. I was told I can still have kids, but it will be high risk, due to an incompetent cervix. I still have pap smears every few months but it appears as though all the bad cells are gone. Anyhow, I still haven't gotten pregnant-- but she told me it was going to be about 3 years. So, we'll have to see. As this is the only thing she told me that didn't happen.
She told me about us moving-- we weren't looking too and we did about 6 months later. She told me so many things that were really far fetched and they all came true so far--- so we'll see. She did tell me my sister was going to be pregnant again---she had just had a miscarriage that week. The psychic said she'd be pg that month. Didn't seem really possible-- it happened!! She also mentioned I'd hurt my back lifting boxes. I never had a back problem in my life-- until a year after that. I was lifting boxes in my basement and I slipped a disc.
I haven't been back as I'm afraid they'll "see" something bad-- so I haven't gotten the nerve up to go again.
Wow.... I do think some people have a "gift." I've never been to one or plan to seek one out, but *wow*...
