for an offsite accomodation?

I was just checking it out tonight and there are some options there for both Vistana and Orange Lake. Saw a few Marriotts but not for my dates.

Wondering if anyone has done this and what their experiences were with it.

Thanks.

I have never booked a place through EBAY, but from what I have seen over time it seems that the owners that are renting their units there may also own more than one week or one unit. You could always try emailing them to see if they have availability where and when you want to go and try to book it direct without the auction. Just an idea.

I'be purchased rentals off of ebay and even a timeshare with no problems. You can get some great deals on last minute plans.

that say - sometimes the prices on Ebay are not real.

I mean some DVC resort actually rented for around $20 a point - here you can find them for $10 a point.

if you want to bid - try

www.skyauction.com

but anything that is over a $150 - I would avoid - but then I am definitely cheap - just remember to add the $195 and $15 fees.

also never pay more than you can get here
www.condodirect.com
www.redweek.com
www.tug2.net

I also think renting off of e-bay could be more expensive than using the rent/trade board of DVC. There you can usually find Disney time shares for about $10/point and if it is off site then it will probably be cheaper by using skyauction.
