I have seen this a lot lately, its like highlights in their hair, but gold or silver or copper. Seriously it looks like someone tied tinsel in their hair.
I am so out of the loop, it must be fashionable with as much as I have seen it lately.

I saw it this weekend around town only it was red and blue. I could understand it around holidays - red and blue for July 4th - but in September?

I guess I'm out of the loop too. Of course I live in a largely Amish town so we're not on the cutting edge of fashion here. :lmao:

Ok here a picture of it.

As opposed to throwing tinsel in the hair, or sparkle hairspray.

Actually, I think it's cute. For a night out, new years eve, christmas.

Oh that's neat, I haven't seen that but I do let my girls have colored streaks. DD13 had candy apple red, but they've faded to pink now, DD9 had midnight blue, her's are totally gone so we may redo them this week. I think DD13 wants to go with purple next time we do hers.

My 13 & 14 year old had these put in their hair this past spring. One of our local hair salons was donating the proceeds to a family in our area whose young child has cancer. They lasted about a month and so many girls in our town had them. It was pretty funny but raised a lot of money for a family in need.:)

Have never seen that before.

I think it is fun for maybe prom or holiday...but some of the colors that are so drastically different (like blue on blonde) just look kinda silly to me, maybe thats the way it should look, funny??? :confused3
I thought the blended ones looked better (like in some of the examples)

I guess to each her own........ :thumbsup2

Yeah I could see it for something like a school spirit thing or something but I have been seeing the silver in dark black hair or the bright red in blonde, it just struck me as differnet I guess.

Binny, I think it's cute! I'm going to show my sil, she's always dying my niece's hair with different colored streaks and I think this would be cute for homecoming week! BTW, I haven't seen it before your post.

Uhhh....I pay GOOD MONEY to keep the shiny silver streaks OUT of my hair thankyouverymuch! :teacher: :rotfl:

I've got candy apple red in mine right now! My hair is almost black, and I wanted something different, so that's what I got. I'm thinking purple next time! Not sure I'd brave the tinsel look, but I think it would look cute on other people..just not me.

ive never seen that before! its really cute. is it real tinsil or are they doing something to their hair?

i have violently curly hair, so if its real tinsil that would look REALLY weird for me. lol.
