Has anyone else NEVER received a PIN?

I have not recieved one. But I called this evening and asked if there was one available for my dates. He put me on hold for a lonnnggg time and came back with a discount of $1200. But it could only be used for a deluxe...Still not enough for me to swing it...We will stay at CSR for now.
Moral to the Story - Call and ask for a pin!

This is good to know! What dates are you planning for? I'm planning on late July. I have my fingers crossed for a pin but I think I will try calling to see if I can get a discount that way. Has anyone else had luck getting a discount calling reservations?

Have been going to Disney for 20 years and never got one.
:confused3:confused3:confused3

Mid-June....

called 2 days ago, went through the whole process of booking a new reservation giving them my email, address everything. I even asked for the AAA rate. No mention of any pins attached to my name. Didn't book. Maybe that'll trigger a pin?!?! who knows.

I've never received one. I think because I go regularly they figure there's no reason to offer an incentive for me to go.

Nope..never got one..do all the surveys..everything..no pin..

but the lady I babysit for gets them left and right.

Never ever gotten a pin here. It irks me something horrible!
My friend at work gets them every couple months Grrrr:(

i never had one just found out about them yesterday on here and i called to ask and nothing. i may not get anything b/c im going for easter week...

I have never had a PIN. I've done everything suggested on these boards to get one, but I never do. I'm beginning to think that the only way I'll get one is if I skip WDW for a year or two - but so long as I can get at least 40% off via AP, Fla Res, or public code, I'll keep going.

We are going at the tail end of Easter week and the public code is available for reservations at select resorts (select rooms) starting Thursday 4/28. I would price our your reservation from 4/28 until you check out and see if the public code can be applied to your reservation. You may have to make 2 reservations, check with a Disney CSR (if you booked through Disney) or your travel agent.

I called to book a room for a trip in May. CM checked, and NO pin for me! I've only been playing since last August, though.

I know, this irks me too. I just called to ask, and of course, not available for me or my husband. Maybe it's because we've been several times over the past 2 decades, and we're already booked at a high rate. I'm not going at a time that pin codes are blocked out -- others are getting 40% discounts at the time we're going.

What irks me is that it feels like Disney is treating us like second-class citizens. Oh yes, YOU get a nice discount, and YOU get a nice discount, but YOU? Ha ha... YOU have to pay rack rate! Those other people are special to us, but not you! I sometimes think about cancelling just on principle and going somewhere that wants our business as much as they want the next person's (there are a lot of other places I like to visit...).

And yes, I sign up for everything, request the DVDs, blah blah blah to the point that my mailbox overflows with all things Disney. Just not pincodes

Sorry, I'll get back to my usual cheery self soon enough. I just needed to vent.

I feel your pain, as I've also done what I could to try and get a pin, to no avail. Makes me so mad ... it's like going to a store where everything is on sale for everyone but me.

I used to get them all the time, now it's been forever...probably because we have been going once a year and sometimes twice. Sigh. Way to reward your loyal repeat visitors. LOL

Neither my husband or I have received a PIN. We have been to WDW 16 times in the last 12 years. We had annual passes for only half of the trips. Tried all the tips and even called with no luck. Our last trip was June 2010 for 2 weeks. We spent a fortune on the dining!!! Wish we had a PIN for that. Anyway, now that we have decided not to go back for a few years.....VOILA!!!! I have gotten multiple PINS in the last month. I think Disney has a frustration guage and when someone reaches their limit, it rings so they throw you a bone.

Add me to the list of people with about 20 trips and no PINs.

Twice this year my mother in law got a PIN for free dining delivered to my address (I'm guessing because we had linked reservations about 8 years ago).

The other day I booked my August trip with the new public discount. Today I got an email from Disney Destinations with the subject "Your Disney Vacation Magic Starts Now, 'last name' Party!" - but the 'last name' was my maiden name, which I haven't used for 18 years (we did do a family reunion trip in the 90's, but that was before I had an email address or any of that). Our reservation is definitely under the right last name.

So that makes me wonder if my parents or someone else is getting all my PINs!!
