Has anyone done the day pass for the Rain Forest room in the spa?

Thanks for all the great information! My boyfriend and I are sailing with another couple on the Dream in May, and this sounded like a reasonably priced thing to do on Nassau day (we're staying on the ship). But I wanted to make sure there would be Jacuzzis. However, there were some good points about crowds, and if you have warm weather, why not enjoy the deck outdoors? Now I can't decide. :)

Another question: is it all co-ed, or are there separate mens' and womens' sections? If the guys decide to go with us, we like to know beforehand if we'll be able to hang out together or be separated.

I've done a day pass at the Rainforest Room on both the Fantasy and the Dream. I've never bought the pass ahead of time online. I've just gone to the front desk at Senses and bought the pass there.

Here are my pictures from the Dream:

(I only have pictures of 2 out of the 3 saunas. The third sauna is so hot and humid, all my pictures are just of a fuzzy lens!)

Great pictures!! Thank-you!

Before we sailed on the Fantasy last year there was a bunch of changes with the spa. One issue was that the day passes were not going to be sold on the ship. Also they were cheaper online. I do not know where it all stands now. But it would be worth looking into just in case.

Umm is there no rainforest room on the Wonder? I'll be sailing in June to Alaska and loved it on the Dream...can't find it in any of the services thought :(

Just off the Fantasy in January and I purchased the pass before I boarded. It was a great way to relax. I used it on our Castaway Cay day. I got up and went first thing in the morning. Then I went back after lunch on the island and stay for about 3 hours just relaxing. It began to get a bit crowed as we were pulling out of Castaway and everyone had the same idea use it before dinner. I would recommend buying the individual passes and don't purchase anymore than 2. With all the excitement and other activities you may not be able to use a length of cruise pass. But above all else if you but 1 day or length of cruise pass. ENJOY IT!

How much is a length of cruise pass? I don't see them in the gifts area. I see the day pass for $16 on the Magic, but no length of cruise. Does that mean they are sold out?

I agree that you should save the Rainforest Room for a sea day. Seems a shame to waste a half-empty ship and the breathing room it affords you out on deck.

Also, if I recall correctly, the open windows in the jacuzzi/heated chair room will overlook the port and downtown Nassau. I would much rather save the day for when the view is open ocean.

Yes, I recently bought one on the Wonder and it was OK. After awhile, I was asked to leave my lounger because a couple came in. There was an open lounger for the wife, but she wanted to sit beside her husband. So I had to give my seat up for the husband. I guess it can get a bit crowded, this was during the Nassau port day.

Why did you have to give up your seat just because that couple strolled in and wanted to sit together? In kindergarten, we call that "waiting your turn".

Not sure, I kinda thought at the time that they were Concierge or maybe they were on their honeymoon. I left soon after that.

Still not sure why you were asked to give up your seat. Honeymooners or Concierge don't have the right to boot people out of an occupied chair. Did the couple ask you to give it up or a CM?

I used a day pass on the Dream. I actually bought it inboard. It was heavenly. The warmed loungers look out over the Ocean and so do the hot tubs. I would go do the different aromatherapy showers that come out with different water strengths and temps and then go lay on the warm loungers. I didn't do the spa on the reimagined Magic but did go see it. The loungers are inside, not overlooking the ocean. For those who did not like it on the Wonder...why? I am cruising the wonder in September and plan to use it on a sea day.

I actually asked for my money back it was so bad! Let me preface this with the fact that there were only 2 other people in there with me. It was co-ed, which is fine. There were a few hot chairs for relaxing in (maybe 4 or 6), showers, a small steam area and a dry sauna. So basically, you can do steam and sauna for 15-30 minutes each tops. The only thing left is to relax in the hot chairs. I love a hot chair! The problem is that it was located under the sports deck and all I heard was BANG BANG BANG of the basketball plus all the people up there running. After an hour of the constant banging, I went and asked for my money back.

A spa personnel asked me to vacate the chair so the man and woman could sit together and there was only one chair available. I got out of the chair and felt uncomfortable so I left.

I would have told that CM to go scratch, and immediately complained to the manager. That couple had no more right to the chair than you did.

I wish I would have thought of that. I just felt so uncomfortable and a little shocked that I left.
