Has anyone done back to back from Galveston?

My husband and I are looking at some really great military discounts out of Galveston, and thinking about a back to back, as we enjoy the ship, and this would give us 10 days onboard, for cheaper than many of the 7 nighters. We have cruised with Disney often, and know that the ports and dinners etc. Would be the same, but we aren't concerned about that at all.
Years ago we did a back to back on the Dream out of Port Canaveral, I was just wondering if anyone had experience doing it out of Galveston, and if there were any major differences?
We will probably also plan on Disney transportation from IAH, if anyone has any insights into that. Thanks so much for any help!

we are doing this in Feb 2027, ours are 7 day cruises. have done B2B out of Canaveral, Barcelona, and Dover, all were fairly similar. met at the designated area and were escorted off the ship. non US ports cast member stayed with us through entire process up to sitting area waiting for re-boarding, then returned when time to board. a couple times we have re-boarded right away (Dover) some short wait, others a few couple hours (Canaveral). expecting Galveston to be similar.

Thanks, kind of what I figured, I was just wondering if anyone had experienced it! i have not been able to find a lot of information about the Galveston cruises in general, and am interested in anything I can find! I think the magic is starting the cruises from there very soon, so maybe I'll get lucky and some more people will post with information!
