Has anyone decorated their Magic Bands? Please show us the pictures!

Love your bands, classic and cute!

Did you use any kind of sealant or top coat on the gray mickey one? My husband doesn't want me to decorate his band, but I think he'd go for something classic like that (as opposed to the all over craziness that I do, LOL). Would love some details on what you used, nail polish, paints?

My husband is the same way, he didn't mind this one at all. I didn't use any sealants and after five days the bands didn't look like they had any wear on them at all. I had only a short amount of time and had heard others say to use clear nail polish, but when I put that on it smeared the whole thing and I had to redo it (luckily it was such a simple design!) The designs were done with a mixture of nail polish and paint pens. Hope this helps!

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the talent on this thread! I book our Christmas weekend tomorrow for arrival 12/26. I just don't think we will get magic bands for this trip with such a short amount of time. I don't know how that works? I would love to decorate our bands for Christmas. If we do get ours at check-in, what can I bring with us to add a little Christmas to our bands?

I was able to order the bands today! At 15 days out, I was surprised!! I should get them in time to add some stickers to them!!

Okay. I think these might be my new favorite crystal bands I have done. Christmas calls for sparkle! All Swarovski, they are amazing in person! So happy!

With in the week of booking our 12/26 trip, our bands arrived!! I was able to decorate them tonight! Very simple, but I like them! Now to wrap the bands and put them under the tree to surprise the boys Christmas morning!

I ended up redoing my whole band after a mishap with my sealant! But I'm much happier with the result.
My brother and I wore our bands in the parks this week and lots of people seemed to notice

Working on our bands...lead pencils work Amazing for small details! You can dip it in whatever paint or nail polish you want to use, then break off the lead & have a fresh tip for the next color.

I decorated my band tonight and put crystals over the Mickey head. I posted a pic of it on my month travel group page on Facebook and a few people said that I should not put them on there because I need to touch Mickey to Mickey and they crystals there will not allow that.
Help.
Do I need to remove them? I don't mind at all, but I like them there =)

No need to worry, the RFID will still work exenow with something over it You will just need to touch where the mickey is to the mickey on the scanners.

It's fine. I've had things on our Mickey heads and no issues whatsoever. In fact I think it makes it easier to line up and we've actually had less problems than without.

I decorated my bands with crystals on the Mickey Heads and the only time I had a problem was when they tried to scan using the handheld scanners (sometimes for FP+ or in restaurants).

Handheld scanners are like that at the best of times even without decoration on the MagicBand so I wouldn't worry about covering Mickey with crystals - the only thing you should avoid is metal.

I also don't think that had to do with the crystals. They have had difficulty reading our bands in the past with no crystals. They have to get things just right.
