TheyThinkImCrazy said:I considered ordering inkjet printable temporary tattoo paper to make some for my husband's band, but haven't ordered yet. I couldn't find any of the paper locally.
I did play around with images that he liked, shrunk them and printed them out on regular paper to see how they fit on the band.

Hi we just got back wanted to give feedback on our bands. All the bands turned out great. Our bands did glow in the dark the whole trip. The glow in the dark mod podge was amazing
Yeah, when he told me those were his favorite characters in the movie, I wanted to slap him through my phone lol. But he doesn't know why I asked. I have everyone's MBs for our trip in 3 weeks and was going to surprise everyone with a decorated band of their favorite characters. My moms is tinkerbell and I ordered her a yellow band before I found this thread, so I'm worried how that will turn out. I ordered pink for myself and my daughter, and I was going to make hers Minnie mouse.. but I really just set myself up for failure lol. I will definitely keep the MU tattoos in mind though..thanks!![]()

You can get some gray acrylic paint and paint over the blue. I had a blue mb that I was going to do the frozen tattoos on and the characters didn't show up good so I painted the band all white. I got my acrylic paint at Walmart for .50. Picture of my band is on page 132 or 133He got a blue magic band.. not much help. I pretty much failed at everyone's color choices lol.

We're going to be taking our first family trip to WDW in November. I had hoped to be able to decorate our magic bands, but I'm wondering if we'll have enough time. We're staying on property, but at Shades of Green, so no magic bands in the mail for us. I had planned on going to Downtown Disney the day we arrive and purchase the bands, but probably won't have time to get started painting/adhearing tattoos until we get the kids down (and there's no guarantee that will happen)
What is the minimum dry time you guys would recommend for the layers? I'll probably be using a clear base coat, acrylic paint, the removable tattoo, and maybe a glittery topcoat with another clear coat or two on top.
I had hoped to get a band or two to practice on, but can't bring myself to pay as much/more for a practice one than I will for the ones we will use!
Thanks in advance for your advice!
I know they recently announced you can buy magic bands without having to immediately link them. Is it possible to order online and get them linked once you arrive? I didn't pay attention if you could buy ahead of time but I wouldn't see why not since they adjusted the rules. We're going to be taking our first family trip to WDW in November. I don't believe that they are selling them online, yet. I did ask around if any friends were going that could purchase them ahead of time, but alas, no one had trips planned.
I did take a look at the duck tape today and I may give that a go on a couple of the bands just for simplicity, but I really want to give my DD a Frozen themed band. She will flip out!
