Has anyone bought tickets thru the GayDays website?

The tickets expire 12/31/04 and are very reasonably priced. However, if you read the 'fine print', you are required to show proof that you're part of the convention.

Was just wondering if anyone has been able to buy tix successfully through this, or any other deep-discount ticket site.

We have not yet but were considering it because a 3day hopper is exactly what we need. Where did you read the 'fine print' that said you would have to show proof you were with the conference? I can't seem to find it anywhere.

I am considering purchasing these tickets also. My only concern is that Gay Days is in June & I'm not going until November. I know they're good until 12/31, but I'm still concerned about it.
My husband, son & I don't look the part to use these tickets.

These are probably convention/group sales tickets that the organizers have pre-purchased. My guess is that you won't have to prove to Disney that you're participating in the convention, but to the convention organizers, since Disney doesn't run this event.
Tough to prove/disprove, but I would guess that the people who bought the tickets will be checking for affiliation with any clubs or civic organizations that participate in the convention.

I ordered tickets and have received them already. I'm not going until Oct., but I don't think it's going to be a problem. I called the 1-800 number and spoke directly to a person at the Gay Days office and she asked if I was attending in June. I told her no, that we were going later in the year and she made no bones about.

Can you describe what your tickets look like? Are they the credit card type or a paper ticket? Do they designate 'Gay Days' anywhere on them? Sorry for so many questions. The 2 day park hopper is perfect for me but I won't be going to Disney until later in the year either. I wouldn't want a ticket that specified a June convention. Thanks in advance!

I looked into those as well but they only go up to 4-day and we want 5-day. I found that you can also order thru the GIJoe convention in July but am also wondering about this attendance thing. Convention tickets include DQ/PI but not water parks which for us (visiting in late December - no swimming!!) would be perfect. I sure don't want to invest $238 each and then find we can't use them though.

We bought our hopper tickets through Gay Days -- had no problem whatsoever with ordering or receiving them. They look exactly like the park hopper tickets you would buy at the gate. The selling point for us was that these tickets offered a DisneyQuest plus rather than a waterpark. The only other difference between these and a regular park hopper is the expiration date written on the back of 12/31/04.
