Has anyone booked a 12 seater van?

We are looking to book a 12 seater van but have been told by Alamo that it is the same size as a 15 seater, they just put the back row of seats down.

There are 5 adults, 10 cases us hand luggage so seems 12 seater only option for is. Or we could hire a 7 seater and another car on the days we do the airport trips!

We've booked a 12 seater through usrentacar which is supposedly a ford E350 or similar. The supplier is listed as budget.

Only 5 of you and 10 cases? I would seriously look at reducing the luggage. even our 4 week trips we only take 3 cases between 3 of us.

Are you staying onsite? free Magical Express, you only need 1 or 2 in the car filled with luggage other 3 or 4 on the bus.

Yes, 5 on a 4 week trip across America (1case each) then an extra case to fly home with once the shopping has been done.

The time we booked a 12 seater we got a 15 seater with the back row taken out we have hired a 15 seater a few times but has been a few years now since we have needed one Asked hubby about driving them as he does the driving he said its just like driving a van. The other option is to hire the 12 seater for the last few days or days needed for the luggage and hire the 7 seater for the rest of the trip.
