Has anyone been able to book the new AP rates for one night?

I am trying to book 11/26, 11/27, and 11/28 at the Polynesian. Since AP rates begin on the 28th, I thought I would be able to get that night at the AP rate.

The CM said no AP rates for one night stays. Anyone know if this is true?

We have stayed several times in the past for one night and always been able to get an AP rate.

Any ideas before I call back?

I got an AP rate at the Contemporary for one night (11/8) just this morning. I think they were so busy this morning that they had to pull in *very* inexperienced Cast Members to help out (the one I talked to said she usually works in Administration).

I'd keep trying if I were you.

Yes, they allow one night AP reservations. I was trying to make one this morning, but they didn't have what I wanted available. But the cm was definetly going to make the reservation had I wanted one of the rooms that was available at AP rate.

Yes, Melinda, you CAN do one night at the AP rate. I would not count on the 28th, though. I called twice today. I got my last night (11/30 at WL) at the AP rate. My first four nights are rack. Of course, the 26th and 27th are blacked out. I though I could get 11/28, 11/29, and 30th at the AP rate. At 7am exactly-I did not have to wait on hold at all- I was told no availability for the 28th and 29th, only the 30th. Well, that figures as it is the sunday of T-weekend and lots of people will check out that day. I got that one night as a separate ressie and had to pay a deposit and everything. They marked it as a continuing reservation and the CM said that she doubted I would have to change rooms. Now, my mom had a standard room booked. For her last two nights (29th and 30th) she was able to get a courtyard view discount, which is cheaper than her standard room at rack. Now, she will have to change rooms. I called back to see about different room categories. Had a SUPER CM named Judy!!! I asked her to try AP or FL Res for any of those nights and she said that she had NOTHING! She said if I didn't have what I did (which is 4 nights rack, 1 AP), I wouldn't get ANYTHING AT WL!! It's probably the same at all the resorts by now!
