their airfare for 2006? I went ahead and got ours for May. Figured I would grab the $79 one way flights on Delta Song while I could.

I booked our April '06 trip back in May. We fly SYR to MCO $248.00 R/T on Delta. That's about the best we'll find out of Syracuse for Easter week.

I just booked Delta 127 r/t from MHT to MCO April 20th-April 30th. Falls between Easter and school vacation week.

poohbear2 ~You are my hero!!!! I am flying out of MHT in February 2006 and I was patiently waiting for Southwest to release Feb dates and had my Ding all installed and ready to go. I was thinking I might get $140 round trip with a good Ding. I just went to Delta's website and booked tickets for $127 round trip. That is absolutely the best price I have ever gotten from MHT to MCO and the flight times weren't too bad. I was hoping to pay $750 for the five of us (and figuring it would be closer to $1000) and I just booked for $640 for all five of us. Thank you . . .

I was super happy when I found this rate! Originally I wanted to leave on April 21st, but I couldn't get a great flight out. That's okay...I will survive with that price!!

That is a great deal and although I was tempted for my April flights I just couldn't do 2 connections with 2 small children not to mention my dh! I am dreading what I will pay for my return flight on April 22nd! (Sat. after Easter break!!!)

I got my tickets for next March Saturday morning (from Denver) and family from Portland got theirs Friday night. Went with American which is a connecting flight, but the direct flights are double the cost. American was setting at $252 for a long time and then jumped to $340, then recently back to $326. From Portland, (they really want from Eugene, but the likelyhood of getting good rates was low) airfare had been over $400. So on Thursday their prices dropped to $288. Debated what to do and when they tried to buy, the first choice times no longer had five seats at that price. So they bought on the second choice (actually better departure time 7am instead of 6am, a bit longer layover, but not too bad 1.5 hr thus getting in 1.75 hr later). On Friday, my airfare dropped to $252. I also got my Capital One statement the same day and I had enough miles for 4 tickets at that price. After making sure which flights family was on, I booked my flights Saturday morning via Capital One travel agent. She was actually able to get the tickets for $244 so I saved a few miles. We will meet family in Dallas for the flight into Orlando. So our family reunion will begin a bit earlier.

Since I was kicking myself earlier for not booking the American flights after they jumped $90, I didn't wait this time. Good thing - prices are back to $326. The only thing I regret is not getting a non-stop flight, but I don't think I would be able to get one for close to $244 for March flying out on Saturday and back on Sunday.
