Probably. I wish there was an option for a DVC member to just use their own points for accommodations only that would bring down the cost.

I guess I am one of the lucky ones who read it too. That is exactly what I thought. She did a great synopsis and made it actually sound quite nice. But, she was also trying to further her business.

I thought it was good too, but my first thought was "how long will this stay up since she mentioned her business and listed her email?" I wish I could remember better what it said but the upshot was she enjoyed herself and felt it was a good Adventure.

I asked a question on if she had paid full fare or been "compt" for the review? It is good to know where the post is coming from and if there was influence in any way financial. Plus it was a bold advertisement for her T.A.. ( a travel agency sponsors this great web site so I fully understand).

2017 trips stay at the Yacht Club now, not the Poly.

I read it as well and while it gave some good information, it definitely came across as sell, sell, sell and was a clear push for folks to book through her. I'm not surprised it was deleted.

That's standard operating procedure with ABD these days. Downgrade certain elements of the trip or drop them all together but charge the same as before. They dropped an entire day off the Scotland trip but didn't adjust the trip price to reflect the change.

If you've never done a guided tour before then it's a good way to be introduced to that type of touring. That's what we did. We did the Backstage Magic trip to DL and we are doing Central Europe with ABD. After Central Europe in September though we are switching tour companies. We will consider ABD in future but the trip will have to be pretty amazing.

Here I am, waltzing into this thread way late.

We'll be doing the October 2nd through October 8th adult exclusive of this trip. We were scheduled for dates in November but it appears that all of these trips were cancelled except two - the one we're going on and the non-adult-exclusive happening October 30th through November 5th. Last week when I checked there were 2017 dates on the ABD Web site for this trip but tonight as I review it appears that there are not?

The only reason we didn't cancel is because we're going on the original itinerary at the Polynesian. We would have opted out if it was the new Yacht Club itinerary.
