Harry Ramsdens/UK Fish and Chips

Hi...I read on another post that the UK counter service fish and chips place was closed on a recent trip. I am trying to get confirmation as to whether this was a short term thing or a long term rehab. Any one have any info on this? Much appreciated!

They serve the fish and chips inside the Rose and Crown Pub. Not the restaurant, the pub where you can just walk in. Just in case the outside place is closed.

On a related note, I noticed on allears that the price for fish & chips seems to have gone up. I remember it being less that $7.00 but now it's $7.99. Kind of a lot for a "snack" IMHO.

Darn it!! We always start our trip with some fish & chips from here and a some people watching at the back of the UK pavillion. Maybe 4 weeks will give them enough time to do what they need to do and have it all ready for me when I get there.

On the plus side, this may give us the opportunity to try some other CS meal in World Showcase that we wouldn't have otherwise had (any recommendations). But, still, it won't be the same. Old habits die hard.

If anyone notices that it is open again before 9/23 I'd love to know.

We ate there in July. The price went up because they increased the size of the pieces of fish.
