HP sets are 100% discontinued. Same as Indiana Jones and many others.
Lego does not sell them. Only individuals sell them. At generally very very inflated prices, which only makes sense with discontinued items.
I got tremendously lucky a few years ago when I chanced upon some about to be discontinued HP items at lego.com, bought them, and then doled them out slowly to DS who was just discovering the stories. Anyone even a couple years ago was out of luck with HP, unless they wanted to pay scads of money. Even I missed out on the first generations of HP Lego, because they released new stuff with just about every movie, and then they would discontinue the old stuff once the new stuff came out.
I also lucked out with Indiana Jones stuff, looking for this one big set that private sellers had at twice the price, when I walked into our local non-chain toy store, and they had it. Not only was it not raised in price, but it was on *clearance* because they wanted to make room for other things. There was a kid standing in the area and it was the first (and hopefully only time) that I did something like this, but I didn't stand around being polite seeing if he was making his way to it, and just walked right up and got it off the shelf. Turned out he wasn't interested in it, thank goodness. I was the hero that gift-giving occasion....
Anyway, no, no HP Legos at Universal, or at a Lego Store, or anywhere but ebay and other places like that.
