Harry Potter GOF Casting Alert!

It looks like John Malkovich has been cast to play Voldemort! I think it's a great choice, but I'm kind of surprised in that he's American. All of the other major roles have been played by British actors.

I just re-clicked on my own link and since I originally read it, there has been an update saying that Warner Bros. denies this. It wasn't there when I first read it and posted it.

Oooh, John Malkovich would have made a great Voldemort! He's certainly played British parts before, but JKR was pretty specific about her wishes to cast only Brits.

Warner Bros. has not confirmed or denied this rumor yet, but we'll update as soon as we hear anything.

Actually it donesn't say only deny...so there still might be a chance..

Maybe they've cast an American as the most evil guy in the movies to get even with America for always casting British guys as the Evil Super Geniuses in all of our movies
