Harry Potter at Midnight

You got a New Moon trailer?!? We didn't!
But we had so many people dressing up...Hagrid, many Rons and Hermiones, Tonks, Fred and George, Harry and a ton of HP shirts.
I thought it was alright...they changed so much from the books and left a ton of big stuff out, like the fact that there is a new minister (tied their hands there did they?). It's not so much they left it out, but I don't like it when they flat out change or add things...the Burrow scene was completely added and angered me because it was sad and it didn't happen!

I didn't actually mind that they changed some of the things, I thought the film was wonderfully done.

We didn't either.

I saw at least 2 kids dressed up just like Harry.

I thought it stayed pretty true to the book. Throughout most of the movie I was thinking "I remember that!"

I was a little surprised that they didn't add Dumbledore's funeral. That's going to be a bit of a problem.

For some reason I thought that was in the seventh book...
They should have shown that!
People in our theater were crying.

I wanted them to include that part too! I was so sad when it ended...I was like, where is it?!? I was waiting specifically to see that scene! Dumbledore was a great man...I thought we should have shown our respects to him by including a funeral to remember him!

They should have at least showed his grave. There's going to be a problem in the 7th now.

They have seriously tied their hands in multiple respects for the seventh book...interesting to see how they will overcome the obstacles they stupidly put in their way.

I cried when everyone lifted their wands to clear away the dark mark. And I don't know if it was just me, but when they did that the theater got extremely cold...

YES! That and when Ron drank the love potion were honestly the best parts of the movie. Oh, and Fred and George's joke shop

When the Inferi grabbed Harry everyone in the theater jumped and one girl screamed.

Omg! When Harry drank the Felix potion, and he was talking about the Spiders pinchers, I just wanted to hug him! He was so cute! That part was hilarious!
Ron (Rupert) did a really good acting job with the whole poison bit. Really excellent.

While I'm sure it sucks that there wasn't a funeral, I'm pretty sure most people know that he's dead.
I don't get why it's such a big deal. Sure if you were like a big movie critic, it could be important...
But god, everyone knows what happens in these movies.

so i went last night
we were at the last preview and the film melted. so they fixed it. and it melts again. so i didnt get to see it. but i am going back at 5:10 and seeing it with a few friends

Other than sitting behind the chatty bratties who came to hang out & next to the girl who laughed at EVERYTHINGGG, (she was cracking up at the very beginning when they were searching the house. xD) I LOVED it.

It's one of my favorites so far. The thing I love about the HP movies is that they're soooo funny in the beginning, & turn so serious so fast. It's the best.

"Why is it that whenever there's trouble, you 3 are involved?"
"I've been asking myself that same question for 6 years."

I loved the way the movie went from funny to serious just like that.
