hi
following the bitter and twisted thread on Harry Potter, i said i would post the information on here for anyone who needs to know how it works
we arrived at the end of aug, and the lines were small, wait time on majority of rides at IOA/US were less than 15mins, we used the red card on MIB, the simpsons and of course, fj.
you can also usethe card at ollivanders, where ds was choosen to get a wand..v special moment
the red card works that if the line is longer than 30mins, they give you a return time, where you use the express line (normally 15mins wait ish) or, in the case of Forbidden Journey, they put you into the "visit the castle line" which moves quicker but it is not a fotl card...
whilst we were in Guest Services there were many people asking for cards as they were in wheelchairs, ALL of them were refused cards, as lines were wheel chair friendly (they were all in rented ecvs), 1 girl came in in her ecv and she was given a card after explaining her medical needs, i think they have cracked that people are trying to jumps lines by rentingchairs!!
at US they did ask me what was wrong with my son, whilst i have nno issues in saying he has asd, i was under the impression they were not allowed to askwhat the issue was, only what they could do to help!
anyway, the new red card worked well for us, it is valid for rip ride rocket, and FJ unlike the GAP cards....
hope this helps someone
