I can't wait for this to start ....fans JUST 34 more days. So what are you most excited about in this movie? I am rereading the book now.

Oh my God! I LOVE this book, it was my favorite of all of them up to this point (I think I loved Deathly Hallows at least as much). I cannot wait for the movie. I think there will be a great balance of comedy between Ron and Hermione and heart-breaking drama with...well, what we know happens in the end. I cannot wait. I mean it. I. can. not. wait!

My daughter and I will go to Seattle so we can watch it at midnight on the IMAX. Then we'll spend the night and watch it twice more the next day. Yes, we are THAT bad. We saw Order of the Phoenix 15 times in the theater and still felt cheated when it stopped playing. We love love love Harry Potter!

I can't wait, in 36 days we'll have to come back to this thread and discuss the movie!

I can't wait. I'm going to buy the tickets tomorrow, while there's still money in the account.
HP4 was the only movie I saw more than once in the theater because I saw it for a dollar the 2 and 3rd time when the regal held a grand opening for charity.

I can't wait to see it. hmmm... I should probably get kari to take the day off.

What day is it released again? july 16? 18th? Am I even close?

I was actually relieved that our Summer vacation has been delayed by a week!!! We'll be home for the opening, instead of on the road!!

We have been listening to all the HP books on CD, even though we have read them all. Should have finished book 6 by the time the movie comes out. I will just be happy if it's better than the last one. I wasn't too thrilled with it.

I'm sure they will have too cut things, but they cut so much out of the last one that things didn't make sense.

According to early screening reports, they've modified quite a bit, cut various things, but this time they've also ADDED new stuff. So who knows? I'm always afraid for the movies because you know it's going to be different from the books no matter what, but how much so is the main concern, and whether the cuts can be justified by the end result of the streamlining of the various book details.

I felt completely jipped by Order of the Phoenix, but I can't help but hope this one will be better.

Yeah. Although, since we have been listening to the books, we realize how much they cut out and changed in all of them.

But, in the last one, it felt a different story! They cut out Dobby, from what I remember! We are listening to it now and are just so amazed at how much they not only cut out, but how much they changed! One example is that Dobby tells Harry about the Room of Requirement, in the book. I think Neville finds it, in the movie. I haven't seen that one since it was in the theater, so my memory is fuzzy. I just remember feeling really disappointed. (Like Twilight)

Anyway, the things that really bothered me in the the last movie were huge differences from past movies. Like: The dementors looked very different, the carriages that take the students to hogwarts were like hay carts in the woods, instead of the big black carriages by the lake etc...

Regardless, I an still SUPER looking forward to the new one!!! Eternal optimist, I suppose!

Many reviews say there's too much romance in the movie that really wasn't as highlighted in the book. Kreacher is cut in this one, and while not super important, he is the reason they find out about the locket. Multiple memories from Dumbledore are cut, I think they said they're only showing 2 or 3.

I don't mind cutting things out, it obviously needs to be done, but when things are added for no reason it is annoying. I don't know how anyone who didn't read the books followed Movie 5.

I am really looking forward to this. We already have our tickets booked for the 15th. I got them as soon as they went on line, I managed to get seats in the middle of the front row of the deluxe seats! Whooo.
