Hard Rock Hotel confirmation email

Good morning all!

I booked a room at Universal's Hard Rock Hotel on July 23rd. I booked directly with Universal but unfortunately I haven't received my confirmation email yet. I did print the initial confirmation (the "thanks for booking, here's your booking number" bit), plus DBF's account has been debited so, while everything looks fine, I'd just like to have the official copy! Annoyingly, the bit where you retrieve your reservation on the website appears to be down, so I can't check it on there. Before I call them, I'd just like to know if anyone else has had the same difficulty as me? I remember waiting for a while when I booked RPR last year but I don't think it was this long.
 
Give them a call , i always recieve email confirmation within 24 hrs.Although i never take my email or reservation number, just give my name in at checkin
The retrieve your reservation probably wont work, only ever retrieved mine once in 5 years with 10 bookings.
 
We have booked HRH for September all I have is copy of confirmation on line never recieved e-mail from hotel to confirm hope it will be ok for us too ! Maybe worth a phone call would hate to turn up & have no room !!
 

Thanks for the replies. Lorna, we have been charged so I'm assuming (hoping?!) our room is safe! I've just remembered that my friend had to call RPR last year, which prompted them to send the confirmation, so I think I will call this weekend. :thumbsup2
