Humbly, I'm pretty good at math, used it every day during my career. I enjoy getting an answer. I know what pi day is but do not really do anything special..

I like math and I like baking... so I made a pie today because I'm off work anyway. If it wasn't convenient, I wouldn't... but I felt like making a pie and Pi Day was a good excuse.

I love pi day! I am baking a frozen razzleberry pie today - yesterday was a long day for me and involved a lot of cooking/baking for an event, so no energy to bake from scratch. It's near my birthday, but unlike the actual day no relatives have died on it, so I often celebrate pi day in place of my birthday. Helps that I'm a math nerd, and my late father was, too.

This year, it's more chill. My wife has been going through a really rough patch, and she can't handle a big celebration. So just pie at home with the wife and roommates. And doing volume and circumference calculations of objects in my home in my head for no reason because I'm a math nerd and this is how I celebrate.

This. I cherish neither math or pie but I do like to celebrate whenever possible! This year we were on the road on Friday after a last-minute pivot to our vacation plans, so the day came and went without observance. Apparently my workplace brought in an amazing array of pies for everyone to enjoy (they do lots of nice little things like that) but alas, I was there to partake.

I ended up making a banana cream pie, which I've never done before. It's one of my dad's favorites... and he ended up getting the flu (and ending up in the ICU) on his birthday a couple of weeks ago and never really got a proper celebation, so I made the pie and took it over to their place. I don't think banana cream is my favorite, but... he seemed to enjoy it, so I'm glad he got it.
