As a side note, how many Disboarders will be watching the 10 Commandments tomorrow night on ABC?
That’s a tradition for us!!!

starts at sundown tonightHow is everyone's Passover going so far?
I thought yesterday? Anyway the Catholic/Christian Holy Week starts at sunset tonight as well. So it's a double celebration.starts at sundown tonight
nope, first seder tonightI thought yesterday?
It's been a great night for me. I'm getting to celebrate both my Jewish and Catholic heritage tonight. Both Holy Weeks don't usually line up together so it's pretty cool when they do.nope, first seder tonight
We got to watch some of it after our Seder ended. As a side note, how many Disboarders will be watching the 10 Commandments tomorrow night on ABC?
I am not a big fish person but certain holidays such as Passover always eat some gefilte fish.Soooooo, am I the only person on the planet that truly enjoys gefilte fish? It’s always been a Passover staple for us. I enjoy making bad jokes about it almost as much as I like eating it. I know “gefilte” is stuffed in Yiddish, but l like to pretend it’s some mythical mystery fish
Seriously though, gefilte fish, potato kugel, hard boiled eggs, and charoset are my Pesach staples…along with the occasional Joyva Ring Jell.
My DH is actually Catholic. We have always honored each other’s religions.I thought yesterday? Anyway the Catholic/Christian Holy Week starts at sunset tonight as well. So it's a double celebration. Also, I wanted to ask if anyone who is celebrating Passover if they also have family/friends who are not Jewish with them as well? What is that experience like for your families?
Usually have these rolls my DM makes with jelly or cream cheese but the times other than the Seders when I have Matzah it is either regular or wheat with either jelly, cream cheese, butter, or almond butter. We have different kinds of sweets so don’t buy chocolate matzah.Chocolate or plain matzah?
spicy? Here's a cultural crossover food suggestion..... If you live near a Wegmans, use their Thai stock to make matzo ball soup. I do the normal mirepoix and then add bok choy and green onions towards the end of the cooking. It's amazing and a super easy change.
Spicy is relative. I'd say it has a little kick to it, but more flavorful than just heat. A medium chicken wing is spicier.spicy?
