Seems like I'm rubbing off on Wally! :lmao:

Happy New Year to you!!

Hope your 2010 is your best year ever, be it, nude, boo, blue, poo, or just plain old new!

We have the champagne (Veuve too... ) in the refrigerator. We have some smelly French cheeses ( :upsidedow ) and will be putting pate (nope, not fois gras, but the pate is nice too) on the filet mignon before wrapping it in puff pastry (mini-Beef Wellingtons, kinda' sorta') and along with roasted potatoes and roasted beets we'll have a lovely anniversary, New Year's Eve dinner (much) later this evening.

We're still tossing around the idea of going to EPCOT for a bit of a walk around the world showcase, but not positive. The weather will be the deciding factor. Looking a bit gray... rain forecast for midnight.

So, Happy New Year to everyone and than you all for a great year of fun, laughter, serious discussion, support, and all other good things! :teeth:

Take care now and have a wonderful evening!

Val & I want to wish all of you a Happy New Year.

Applies equally to those we've met and those we haven't met yet!:dance3:

WOW... those fireworks look real familiar from December 30th! What a view and what fireworks!

Happy New Year Everyone!

Holy cow ... thanks for the video of the fireworks!! I would love to see that in person.

Happy New Year to everyone! Wishing all a healthy and happy year :)

We stopped by EPCOT last evening for a couple of (early evening) hours. WHAT A CHAOTIC place that was! :scared1:

There were no parking CMs, go ahead and just imagine what the parking lot was like. The parking lot trams didn't seem to be running with any frequency (we had inched our way to the front, so it was an easy walk).

Not sure what was going on at the ramp to the entry for the monorail to the MK, but there was a massive crowd gathered there and a number of "shirts" who were trying to do crowd control. The shirts also had rolling carts of sandwiches and drinks for $10 each. They were booed! We didn't hang around that area too long. That sort of atmosphere truly scares me. :guilty:

There were backstage exits from the WS to FW too, for the first time ever.

Anyway, we left after the first showing of Illuminations... happy to be home where we had our dinner... and champagne toast at midnight. ::yes::

If today is any indication of how the next year's gonna be, I wanna crawl under a rock and hide.

But anyways, happy new year to everyone else!

Oh geez. :( Let's hope things turn around for you fast. Maybe today is just getting rid of old dross from last year... ::yes::

LOL

I came in to work, and on the weirdest day of the year, we had the 2 least experienced people working, so I had to fix several billing issues. Then we had people that had slept in and were refusing to answer the door/check-out, so I had to go up with housekeeping banging on doors.

Good times. The good thing about it, the year can only get better.

So everyone, how did your New Year's Eve go?

Rob, the bagna cauda was delicious I hope? Wally? The fois gras?

Hope everyone had a great time with no ill effects the next morning! :teeth:

The Bagna Calda was awesome! Three pots of it, on the table with 11 people sitting down to eat. The house reeked of garlic.

Had only one person who refused to try it. Which is disappointing to me, because it's pungent, but delicious, and I like to share my favorite things with my friends. But he heard "anchovies" and got all closed minded about it and wouldn't even try any.

On the other hand . . . that meant more for the rest of us! :woohoo:

Then we popped bubbly bottles open and rang in the new year! I was holding Tolliver while Scott had his arm around me. We kissed, then we both got kisses from Tolliver. And then I got hugged by my mom and dad. And then hugs all around from our awesome friends. I can't imagine a better way to start a new year and a new decade!
