:dance3:Happy New Year everyone!! :dance3:

So it'll very shortly be 2012 - what are everyone's holiday plans for next, very shortly to be this, year? :)

If anyone read my trip report for my 50th they'll know how my lovely DH  ended up thinking our 2011 trip to DLP was all his idea. Well, the pixie dust has been sprinkled again as he thinks our 2012 trip is his idea too - firstly because he likes to get a Christmas decoration for each year and as hildasmuriel isn't going next year bet she weakens ;) he will need to get his own what a hardship and secondly he broke our Mickey ice-cream scoop so that needs replacing luckily the Disney Store doesn't stock them and please no one mention ebay. :ssst:

We have decided to spend part of our time in Paris as previously we have only gone in for day trips from DLP. We are spending 3 nights in Paris and are planning on visiting Versailles on one of our days. Then we go to DLP for 3 nights where we are staying at the Newport Bay. I have a rough plan of meals already (!) these are Inventions Sunday Brunch, Cape Cod, Silver Spur and Agrabah Cafe. What's that - no Walt's? It really pains me not to eat there as it's my favourite restaurant but if we dine there every trip we're never going to try anywhere new so Cape Cod will be a first this time.

I'm really looking forward to all the 20th celebrations - we loved the 15th and hope the 20th will be as good. I'm especially looking forward to Dreams as we are planning on visiting Disneyland the next year and it will be a nice taster for World of Colour.

Well, that's enough of my ramblings - who's next? :goodvibes

Happy New Year Elaine! :)

Well, our plans are only in the making as of today - so nothing definite yet, but looking like we may be back at our beloved Hotel New York at the end of May for 3 nights  This might not include DS1 this time - which is making me sad already just thinking about it :sad2: but on the plus side it will be much cheaper, only needing one hotel room :)

We too are thinking of a day trip to Versailles. No meal plans yet but will try to include Walts as we missed it this year (last year...)

Hopefully will have something more concrete within the next few weeks and will no doubt be back on this lovely Dis board more often :goodvibes

I had no idea about that there was a Mickey Mouse Ice Cream Scoop - I think I need one of those too...oh and I need to take a photo of the Hotel New York hairdryer ;)

Next!

Happy new year all :goodvibes

We're getting wed in May so our holiday plans are for a lovely honeymoon seeing different parts of Europe.
We have 3 days in Amsterdam and I cant wait to stroll down the canals and see the Anne Frank house and all the lovely little gems that the city has to offer. We then head to Paris to do a days sight seeing and a day in DLP (naturally, its like the law) and then fly out to Naples for 5 days of soaking up the sun (I hope) and some Italian cultural goodness. Oh and I may just eat carbs. Lots of carbs :)

We hopefully will get down to my SILs holiday home for a week in the summer to spend the days on the beach with the kiddies. It was lovely in August and we'd love to go again.

The next couple of months will be mad planning our wedding so I think a proper DLP trip will have to wait until 2013 but I think I'll survive, just!

Hope 2011 was a great year for all and I send you all best wishes for the coming 12 months :)

Happy New Year to everybody!!

I go on January 11th to January 13th for my youngest daughters' 4th birthday.

I will be taking my 3 children and none of them know, it is a BIG surprise and I am BURSTING to tell. They won't know until we are at Ashford International on the day of travel.

We are staying at the Sequoia Lodge and it is her actual birthday on the day of arrival, we will be having her birthday dinner at Café Mickey with birthday cake that evening, the next day we will have lunch at Rainforest Café and dinner at Inventions and the last day we will probably have a late lunch/early dinner at Annette's before catching the Eurostar. I would also like to try and have breakfast at DLH one morning.

I haven't been to DLP in about 5 years and am so excited.

Happy New Year Elaine (and everyone else too:goodvibes)

Like most on here, I just have to go during the 20th celebrations, so we're going mid-May for eight days, although we plan to spend a lot of that in Paris doing all the stuff we didn't have time to do last visit.

Also planning a couple of short trips to Spain and Austrian lakes - favourites of ours, and then in Feb 2013 our first trip to WDW :cool1:

Hope you all have fabulous holidays (in Kizz's case, superfabulous honeymoon), which will of course result in no end of entertaining reports to keep the rest of us energised until it's our turn again.

Also, hope this year brings everyone lots of surprises, pleasures and good fortune.

Slainte :drinking1

Happy new years Dis

Our Disney plans are character hunting! We travel on the 5th for 3 nights! Elsie's birthday is the 10th so we will be home then have a Disney themed party of course ;)!

3 character meals and hours of waiting in line to see the princesses is basically our plan :)

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! We take off Monday morning for a family reunion at OKW :wizard:

happy new year everybody:wizard:

I'll be taking my two kids to DLP in March for the whole week. Happy and excited. First DS is starting school this autumn so it's the last time we're so flexible with dates. I do hope I can take them sometime on weekend or on some school holidays.

Just as my ticker says really I shall be heading back to the magic later this month :cloud9:

Happy new year, everyone!

At the moment, DFi and I are talking about another December trip to celebrate the anniversary of our engagement. It's all hypothetical at the moment, but we'll either spend one night in Paris followed by three nights at SL, or spend a long weekend in London followed by three nights at SL. Although I should probably finish my most recent trip report before getting elbows deep in planning another trip!

There's also the possibility of my parents relenting and planning a whole family trip - my mum has been pining since we came back with all of our photos, and if they do give in it will mean three nights at DLH just before Christmas!

Either way, I'm set on trying Auberge this time. I loved our character meal at Inventions on this trip just gone, but next time I want to meet some princesses! princess:

26 days and counting till we take DD for her 4th Birthday. We are staying at Sequoia Lodge and other than booking Auberge De Cendrillon for DD's Birthday I have no real plans.

Have down loaded the Iphone app and DD is planning our agenda! Good restaurant recommendations greatly received.

Then a weekaty Dollywood in Tennessee for my Birthday in March

Happy new year one and all! The year of the 20th anniversary is really upon us now :wizard:
My plans are 3 nights at the Sequoia Lodge from 6th June with my mum, dad and sister. Can't wait to go back with my dad, I predict the four of us will laugh for four days solid! My mum and sister are going to Paris for 3 nights first (Samantha's 18th birthday present just her and mum, I got the same when I was 18) then my dad and I will meet them at DLP.
My band is playing at a samba festival in Co'burg, Germany in July so really looking forward to that trip too.
My cousin is getting married in Toulouse in mid-September and since I'll have an annual pass it would be rude not to stop at DLP on the way down. My sister and I will probably stay at the Kyriad or some such, for a couple of nights.
And after to-ing and fro-ing with plans to visit America, my flatmate and I have eventually settled on a 2 week trip to Asia instead. That will be in mid-November, starting in Singapore and travelling up through Malaysia and Thailand.
I'm moving to London in September for work, so with the eurostar on my doorstep and an annual pass in my purse I daresay there will be a christmas DLP trip on the cards too!

Phew, so much to look forward to. And plan! I really can't wait!

:cheer2: Happy New Year!!!!! :cheer2:

I haven't been on here lately - life has been getting in the way! I do plan on starting my TR this week though (better late than never..?) ;)

I am trying to get DH to talk about holidays for this year but with little success yet, so no plans...

Need to understand how new Avios scheme works to see if I can use those for flights to Paris :confused3 but would also like some sun this year, somewhere with a pool for a week to relax...:beach:

Hope all of you going soon have a magical time and I shall look forward to reading all your TRs :wizard:

Wishing you all a brillitant 2012 x

Happy New Year everyone!

Our original plan for this year was to go to California in March to tick off another Disneyland - but...(after booking the tickets)... my boyfriend's brother is now getting married in Australia so Mickey in California has to be rearranged!

We're also hoping to get another DLP trip out of our annual passes by June, depending on how extortionate the flights to Aus end up being.... definitely want to see some of the 20th celebrations!

A very Happy New Year to everybody :wizard:

Wishing you good health, much happiness and wealth plus lots of nice holidays :goodvibes

We have started the year as we hope to go on by going to DLP yesterday and we are off again on Wednesday :lmao: so for our real holidays we are going elsewhere

A week in Burgundy and one in Dordogne and our main holiday will either be in Asia (Hong Kong and Bali or Thailand and Angkor) or Mexico (again ) and Belize

Happy New Year everyone:goodvibes

I'm have a day trip to DLRP this month with the Sun deal, just waiting to find out which day. Also a group of my friends & I are hoping to go to Disney May sometime & my dad wants to go their as a family for his 60th birthday.

People I work with are thinking of going to Edinburgh for someones 30th, so may go to that depending on the dates.

I really want to go back to either Vegas or NYC this year, need to have a chat with a friend to see if they are interested.

No dates have really been decided yet as I might be working in some capacity at the Olympics & Paralympics so that will take up 5 weeks but I don't mind as it will be an exciting experience.

Happy New Year fellow Dis'ers!!

Been lurking around for a while and finally got the go-ahead from my better half, to get something booked!!

It will be DD3's first trip to "the magic", which means we will be a party of 5, me, DW, DD11, DD3 and DMIL63 - Yes, I know I am a Saint!!

We are looking to book for 3rd June, 5 nights. Not sure how to get there just yet, might try driving.. As we are a party of 5 we are limited in our hotel options... DLH - too expensive for us, SF a strong possibility, or Explorers. What would you guys suggest?

Happy planning and all the very best for 2012!!

Lovely hearing about everyone's plans. :goodvibes Anyone else want to share? :)

There's also family rooms at Newport Bay or if you do drive, how about a cabin at Davy Crockett Ranch?

Our last trip to DLP was in 2007 (15th Anniversary celebrations) so it seems right that we're going back this year for the 20th Anniversary :yay:

Not booked it yet, but planning to go for a few days during the 1/2 term week at begining of June and stay at DCR. Last time we went in the October and it was freezing so it will be nice to wander around in summer clothes this time :cheer2:

A couple of months ago we found out that my brother, sister in law and 2 neices have booked to go the same week as us. It was a big suprise as they have always said it wasn't the sort of thing they liked but I think they have bowed to pressure from my 8 year old neice! :lmao: They didn't know we were planning to go the same week so it was a big suprise all round! Looking forward to hooking up with them at some point while we are there :)

Our main holiday this year is a couple of week down in the South of France in July. I had originally planned to tag out DLP trip onto the end of our main holiday but my boss has changed to rules about taking leave in the summer and now says we can't have 3 weeks off together, so I've had to split them into 2 seperate trips.

Happy Planning everyone.
Luv Suzy

Our plans have developed somewhat! We're now spending a long weekend in London in late March/early April for DFi's birthday which, by his own admission, means we can make our December trip exclusively to DLP! We're now looking at either three or four nights in SL during the week of the 17th-21st. :cheer2:
