Just got back from WDW. Used National EA for the first time. Arrived at MCO about 1:30 a.m. There were about 4 cars on EA--a Grand Am, Buick Regal, Lumina, and one other. As we started to choose the Lumina, an attendant drove up with a Chevy Blazer and then a Rodeo? SUV. We chose the Blazer. It was great. Only 5000 miles but had a Massachusetts license. Very clean. Had my coupons, reservation confirmation, and EC card. Check out was very quick. Return was even easier. Just drove in and by the time we got our luggage unloaded the attendant had everything checked out and gave me the receipt which was correct. They only charged 1.36 per gallon for gas. On Disney, gas was 1.68 per gallon. Just south of I-4 on 535, gas was about 1.28 per gallon. For the convenience, it was worth it to pay the 1.36. Will definitely do EA again!

Hi -- a question on your post (which sounded awesome) -- I have reservation for Sept with EA membership--I used a code found on this site -- will they ask for hard copy of an actual COUPON? I hope not! Please advise -- I am new, and pretty dizzy about all this! Thanks so much!

Most of the time, codes require proof. Do you know where the code came from? You can email me the code if you like and I will tell you if I know it.

If you used a coupon code you will need the coupon. If it is a general discount code, then you should be ok.

If it's a printed coupon (EB) you MUST HAVE THE COUPON. The DC coupon is not always required.
I had printed the page but when I handed it to him he said he didn't need "internet coupons". I took a convertible from the aisle, when I went to leave I was told the manager said no more SUV's or convertible unless you reserved that type of car and he asked what my reservation said. It was 11:00 at night, I didn't ask for special treatment and didn't want to go back and get another car. I told him my reservation said my choice of car from the EA, if there was a problem I'd talk to the manager and they should get the SUV's out of the aisle if they were short. He didn't bother getting the manager and let me go but expecting a free upgrade may be disappointed.

We just got back, too. EA worked fine, but choice of cars at 11:00 a.m. was very limited. We wound up with a Pontiac Grand Am with heavy mileage. We arrived with four people, and the car worked okay for us and our luggage. But DS and his friend joined us a day later, and leaving for home we never would have been able to cram six people and luggage into the car. I made a very-last-minute ressie with Tiffany, and they were great. The picked up the boys, got them to their flight, and everything was fine. And it was all a lot cheaper doing things this way than it would have been to rent a minivan for the week.

Hi - thank you for your replies!

I'm pretty sure it was a Disney Club code I used in conjunction with my Emerald Aisle membership after further inspection of the printout -- will this matter? Above posts say they don't ask for it -- I hope not! Please advise! Thank you so much.

Molly Belle, if it was a contract code (lower base rate code - starts with 5) you will not need a coupon, but will need to show your Disney Club card. If it was a Disney Club Coupon code (free weekend day -starts with 1), then you will need a coupon or print out of the coupon. You can find the coupon on the Disney Club members website and print it out.
