I would like to wish all you Mom's on The DIS a very Happy Mother's Day! May you enjoy your Special Weekend!

My DD (Lauren) will not be able to come home! It is OK, she will try to get home this week for a few hour's. Gary is getting me my new kitchen island! We went this past week and they are making it. It should be done in about three weeks. When we built the house I was not sure of it, but since had decided that I would like to have one. I am so excited!

Michael is moving home from college this weekend! Can't believe he's done with his Freshmen year already!! It seems like just yesterday I was sobbing and crying as he pulled out of the driveway with all of his things last Fall.

Oldest DS is in Cleveland on a business trip but said he'd be getting home Sunday evening and coming over to wish me Happy Mother's Day.

It has been a tough road raising 2 special needs kids, but very rewarding! My ds wrote me two Mother's Day cards yesterday from school. So precious!
