I'm so excited .I called DH this morning and here was the conversation:
Me: Have you done anything for me yet for Mother's Day?
Him: No, why?
Me: ACM is having a cartridge sale. Can I go buy my own gift?
Him: Well, can you buy some cartridges and give them to me for the kids to give you? And can you make a list of smaller stuff that I can take them shopping for so we can bundle it all together?
Me: No problem, thanks!!
So.......I went to ACM with the intention of buying Going Places. They had ONE left, so while I waited for it to get unlocked, I looked at the others too...after all, he did say "some cartridges" right? They had BOTH Pooh carts! Needless to say, I got all 3
. I guess I think I'm a pretty good MOM!!!
Darn good think I like that man. I like his Mom too. So I ordered some flowers from a shop she goes to all the time. They know what she likes and I know they will do a good job. Then when we visit I will give her the gift of time. I like to cut back her flowers/bushes/trees, weed, divide plants and move them. She watches the boys and I get a good work out and time to myself. Works out great for both of us.
