Happy Limo, or Disney bus?

We're trying to get from MCO to Port and back in November for our Disney cruise. The prices between the above options range from $160-240. There are advantages and disadvantages to both--towncar we get to pick our own times, but Disney has those wonderful buses and takes care of our luggage. So, could any of you chime in on opinions of these companies? We've never used the towncar service and the Disney bus only once. This year we have a wee bit more freedom flight time wise so I didn't automatically go with Disney transfers. But if someone could tell me if they were pleased/displeased with Happy Limo I would appreciate it. There will be two adults and two small children.

FL Tours is a board sponsor. Tiffany and Sunray seem to have a following. Happy Limo has a bunch of extra charges, make sure you're comparing a bottom line price.

I had no idea! I'm new to this transportation board, usually just on the Cruise Line forums. There are just so many choices and you want to make the right one so I came to the experts! I knew nothing about the ** company (except they had a nicely set up web page) and someone mentioned a great rate on the other one so those were the only options I was hip to. Maybe I should just stick with the reliable ole Disney option!
Thanks-Melanie

Melanie...no problem at all!! I have used Tiffany Towncar as well as FL Tours (a board sponsor) in the past. In fact, I think I've used TT 4-5 times and FL Tours 2-3 times now...had good service with both. Also used DME 3 times now, and that's been fine also. Haven't used the DCL buses yet. I am doing a cruise in August but renting a car since we want to spend an extra day exploring the area.

Not a huge fan of Happy Limo but some have used them religiously and have been pleased. You can book using the Mousesavers code and get a small discount and they give 100% satisfaction guarantee now. I am taking that they are trying to turn things around after being raked over the coals some time ago with some less than stellar reviews. There are other great town car services in the area so I'd check others out before making your final decision.

Yeah, like Lewis said - check them for those extra charges they put in like airport fee, etc. You might need to contact them for a final quote.

I've used Quick silver Tours and Lorden Transportation in the past and have been pleased. Not so stellar with Happy Limo. I mostly used Lorden since Jimmy from the old hat Golden Limo and Lorden had teamed up together some time ago. That's how I got connected with Lorden in the first place. I have booked a new person for our upcoming cruise transfer also (I almost feel like I'm cheating on my regular driver! ) in about two weeks so I'll report on that when I get back. :teeth: ;)
