a balmy 33 here broke down and turned on the furance

Got my settlement check from insurance company and car goes in Tuesday for at least a week

Everyone, just keep your fingers crossed on the weather for me. We are having new porches done, new roof (it's a ripoff....we have cedar shakes and 2 roofs on top of that), new windows and siding.

I just need the weather to cooperate for the next 6 weeks!

They're calling for it to be cold and rainy here this weekend. It figures! I've had to work the past couple that were nice, and I'm off this weekend.

Where has DblD been lately? Has anyone seen her around, and I've just missed her?

Too bad about the test Diane. Insurance conpanies can be a real pain.

Lars, the fine art of layering long underwear under the band uniform begins tonight.

We have an away game and it is the other school's homecoming. It is a high school that our middle school feeds into also. So, the kids have a lot of friends there. It will be cool this evening and tomorrow when we have a competiton.

Kathy, I was just thinking the same thing about DblD. And TimnDans mom too.

Looks like my pants beat this here.

Diane, too bad about your surgery having to be rescheduled. I'm glad though that your other doctor visit went well.

I am going to yoga at 8:30, and then staying for the next class which is called "boot camp" So, if you guys don't hear from me later, send out the search dogs - I may be passed out at the community center! I thought I would give it a try and see how intense it is. Usually, the teacher shows you modifications to make the exercises harder or easier to suit each person.
