Happy Anniversary while singing in the rain @ WDW! UPDATE-PPass p.14 & BFF p.15 9/18

Wasn't it fun to just walk around Pop and check everything out?

Yes it was VERY fun! This trip we took a lot more time relaxing and taking our time then we usually do. It was nice because I got to really explore the resort- although I still missed a pool and some of the statues. But it was very nice!

So I forgot to mention- on Day 5- after we finished walking around the resort- we wanted a snack and although we weren't SUPER hungry- the pizza sounded really good. So we decided to put two of our meal credits together to get it.

A BIG late night snack.. which was really yummy.. but kind of a waste because we didn't even eat half of it.. and we are pizza eaters.

So this is our last day at disney! But the good news is- we had a full day at disney because our flight didn't leave until 8:35pm.. I believe.

On our last day, OF COURSE we chose to spend it a MK! Surprisingly there were things we still hadn't done, and I still needed to get a DOLE WHIP before I left. I had saved my last snack credit for it! hehe

(The rest of the pictures are taken from my old phone, which actually takes good pictures...better than me new iphone. My camera batteries were all dying.. thats why I need a new one that isn't such a battery-life sucker).

Here are the things we did throughout the day!

Morning consisted of:

I made DH go to: Tiki Room.. even though he REALLY didn't want to.. hehe I will admit its not as good as I thought the first time.

We ate lunch- randomly at: (This wasn't planned at all- it just sounded good at the time..hehe)

I thought this was cute! hehe

The food was really good. I was happy that we went there.

When we walked out.. we walked right next too.. (literally)

but we wasn't stopping for pictures.. boo hoo.
Then we got to watch Jack Sparrow! We didn't stay for the whole act.

We then headed to.. Can you guess where it is?!!

......if you guess Philharmagic! You were correctomundo!

Then we headed to Mickey and Minnie's house.. in hopes to meet Mickey before we left- since we hadn't seen him all week !

and finally.. they were there!!

Since we had to wait sooo long in the line to take a picture with them.. we decided to head back to the resort for the rest of the day.. and swim.. except we realized after we got back to the resort- we didn't have our swim suits on the carryon! pfff..

On our way back to the front of the park- I realized "HEY I didn't get the dole whip yet"..so we walked around until we found it!
and it was sooooo worth it!

He was across from where we were sitting.. we were the first to take a picture with him!! lucky us!

As we walked out.. I said goodbye with a few more pics.

Once we returned to POP and realized we didn't have our suits.. we just wandered around the resort with really nothing to do.. hehe

but it was yummy. It tasted like a mounds candybar.

and I guess all this waiting started to make us crazy...

YAY I'm done!! HIP HIP HORRARRYY! I'll be back for one last closure post- and post pictures from the calendar I ordered with all the pictures from the photographers.

Then I REALLY need to get started on a new PTR because I have soo many great things to share with you guys!

I have tent camped at Fort Wilderness many times...including in March. It is the cleanest, nicest and most comfortable campground I've ever stayed at. We actually camped there for 3 weeks Christmas and New Years one time! Its not dirty (they have sand campsites) so NO mud and bathrooms are SPOTLESS with roomy, clean tile showers.

They also do not allow campfires (so no smoky smell) but do have nice barbecue pits (stand up kind) that allow you to grill if you really need to.

Thanks I hope you're enjoying this month too! I believe you meant "last few weeks of Aug." but thats ok! Now it's the last few weeks of Sept. I was actually happy to be done posting on this trip so I could start on the NEW one but now I don't have time to start it! hehe I will soon though! I have GREAT things to share about it!

Thanks for the information on the campground! I will definetly keep it in mind for the future. The only problem is- I wonder how I would get a tent on an airplane! hehe I would really have to pack tight! hehe But next spring I'm looking to relocate and FL is one of the states, so maybe if I'm lucky enough to land there- camping there will be easy and convenient!

Helloooooo everyone!! I really do miss you all very much. I'm soo sad that I'm not on here much lately- its been like 2 weeks or more since I logged in. It's my last semester before I student teach and with work and "coaching again" (which is new- I haven't shared yet) i just don't have the time to start a TR for our May Trip! I will say, that it is booked and almost paid for already- which makes it that much more enjoyable AND we got a REALLY AMAZING deal that I've never had before. Also, I am sorry that I'm falling behind on your reports, I promise I haven't forgotten you!

I wanted to take time like I promised to post the photopass pictures from our calendar that I ordered! I just took a picture of each page- most are clear but please excuse the glossy/shining ones! I tried my best! I love the pictures from the photographers.. they really do get some great pictures!

I created this calendar on the disney photopass site cause I didn't order a CD. I would strongly suggest this in the future, its affordable and its really nice quality. The calendar is thick card stock paper and will make VERY nice pictures for frames when the year is over with.

A few little updates: (until I start my new PTR for MAY- only 8 months away!!!) (but this will be a reverse update from sept.-through last update! hehe)

1. I've been changing my hair color quite a bit the last couple of months and this last month I hate the stylist put red, light brown, and a bright blonde.. and this what it looks like. I thought I'd share cause I've always shared my hair info before. (before I was soo busy and could share my life.)

Wayyyy back in Aug.. hehe when the prices came out for 2011. My parents came up for a cookout and we had a "booking disney party". I made mickey cupcakes with oreos and I really wanted to share them! They weren't perfect but easy to make and yummy!

(and the cupcake cups are disney princess!)
All I'm going to say is that we booked May 13th- but then had to change the dates cause of an amazing deal!


Further back in beginning of Aug. I had my cousins wedding and I got to help with updos.. sadly I didn't get a picture of the hair styles I did- but they all turned out nice.
I don't really much like this pictures of me.. I had my hair styled for the wedding and it really wasn't what I wanted.. but..

You were there right after we were last May. I remember getting home and seeing all the rain reports down there and saying thank goodness it wasn't us. We had rain one afternoon/evening and that was it for 7 days.

Yes, we were VERY sad before we left for this trip because of the weather. It was like the entire month before that was decent weather with rain here and there and for a while every time I checked the weather it was decent and then like the last week before we went it just kept reporting rain and more rain. My DH was really mad about it- but we went and had a great time. YES there was wayyy to much rain.. I mean when it rains in FL during rain season- it pours! It was like a treacherous rain storm when it rained. I found it humorous that out of nowhere it would turn into rain storm and then like an hour later be gone and sunny. hehe Usually rain doesn't bother me much, but when you are on vaca at disney- you kind of want to be outside and enjoying the parks.. so it puts a damper on things. But if anything the rain made us slow down and relax more- which we never do.

You got VERY lucky! In 2011, we are going again in MAY.. I'm kind of scared too.. but we were originally going to go in Jan. but my parents were offered a cruise from my dads boss and thats in Jan. So I told them we could switch it. Since, I will be student teaching in Jan- I won't have a school SB or any break really til after I grad. in May. So we are risking it again.. but this time going a little later.. soo I'm praying for good weather!

I wanted to finish my update:

So in July, my Best Friend Amber (who lives in FL) came to visit and since I live like an hour from our hometown, I stayed with with my friend Rachie for the weekend and we had a girly sleepover! hehe Rachel has 2 girls and is single- so it was just us girls and no boys for the whole weekend! During out sleepover, I watched many hours of Hannah Montana and other various disney channel shows, and Alvin and the Chipmunks movie, swam in the pool- got REALLY burnt, had a craft night- where most of my hometown best friends came over and we had crafts everywhere. I learned how to make hair bows for my friend Rachel- because she said "Jenny I really want to make hairbows for Kenzy and Bella for dance and cheer practice- so I thought you could make them" hehe I have no idea how she knew I would be good at that.. so I taught myself watching videos online! hehe And then of course, I spent a little time (not as much as I hoped with Amber). But on Amber's last night here, Rach and her surprised me and they came up to visit me.. we went out to eat at Applebee's and the took the kids to the park.. and took many pictures. Rachel and Amber are my best friend- Rachel has been my friend of 16 years (4th grade), and Amber for 11 years and in high school- we all became like 3 best friends.. and ever since it has been "us 3". Soo we took many updated pictures together!
