Yes, he's a real live nephew of Uncle Sam born on the 4th of July! When I was younger I believed that all the fireworks and partying and so forth on the fourth was for my Dad's birthday! Hey, he told me that and I always believe my Dad! 
I feel very fortunate that at 43 I still have both my parents alive. (My Mom turned 78 last month) Last year we moved them closer to us to an over-55 townhouse community. Now me and the kids get to see them a lot. Both my parents still have such an influence over my life and I thank God every day for them.
The family is coming over in a bit for a cookout and to go swimming...yay!
