Happy 21st Birthday! WDW, DCL and a Dis meet! *TR COMPLETE*

It was getting close to the Ohana Dis meet time so I decided to make my way out to the monorail because I didn't know how long it would take me to get over there. When I got to the top of the monorail ramp there was one just pulling into the station.

As we pulled out of the station I had to get some shots of the entrance of the MK.

When I got to the Poly I had to change into my Dis Shirt and wait for everyone to arrive. After a few minutes of waiting I see Megan and Lindsey coming over! Yay! We chatted for a minute and before long Julie showed up! Julie was new to our Dis meet and we were very excited to meet her. We had one more person we were waiting for after Julie arrived. We waited and waited for Jenny but we didn't see any sign of her. Lindsey went ahead and checked us in for our Ohana dinner. As she was doing that Jenny had arrived! Our whole group was together and excited about the night ahead.

Our buzzer soon went off and we were welcomed to the resturant.

Past the grill...

As soon as we sat down the show started. The woman invited all the kids and anyone who wanted to join up to do the hula.

Julie and I decided we were going to do it then Jenny and Lindsey soon joined. Megan just laughed and took pictures of us! lol

After we did the hula we went back to our table and the food just started coming. This was a really fun resturant because all the meat is brought to you on skewers.

After the meal came the yummy bread pudding. Now I've never been a fan of this but my gosh it was soooooo good!

Now if you remember I was celebrating my 21st birthday and Lindsey's b-day was actually 3 days after mine. So we decided that we were going to celebrate together. Ohana actually sent us over each a b-day cupcake.

Happy Birthday Lindsey!

Oh and the frosting on these seemed to be made out of crisco so they became known as the crisco cupcakes!

We had a great time at dinner! It was a great choice, nice and close to the MK and a great atmosphere and food!

After we wrapped up dinner we had to catch the monorail over to the MK. We had a Party to get to!

Thanks. The tour was great, I was more into it for the history though. Your right it did kind of ruin the magic. Because in parts of the park you are so close to the ugly backstage parts but you never notice. But now that will always be in my mind.

I really love that parade spot as well. You got some great photos.

Okay, I want to start planning another meet now! I had so much fun with you and the other girls. I'm reliving the moments of the short Soarin lines, crazy French SSE and the skewered meat that just kept coming (not to mention the crisco cupcakes)

I've been wanting to do the Keys tour (I've done the Train one which was great). And you got a great spot for the parade. It made me realize that I never saw the afternoon parade (at any park) the last time I was there. I'll have to make a point of seeing at least one of them on this trip.

We got to the MK and we were all very excited for the Pirate and Princess Party. We quickly got our party bracelets, treasure maps and made our way under the train tracks on the red carpet.

When we walked into the park we were amazed at how the MK had been transformed into a Pirate and Princess paradise.

All down Main st. were these signs. One for a pirate, one or a princess and so on. And when the sun set the signs would actually light up.

We decided early on (even before we had all flown down to FL) that our first stop of the party would be to meet Capt Jack sparrow. We knew from the boards that the line for him gets long FAST! So off we went to Adventureland.

We got the the area where he was and there was a sign saying a 30 minute wait. That wasn't bad so we joined the line.

The queue line was all decorated in Pirate theme with treasure chests and pirates.

The line seemed a bit long and Jenny and Julie found a new friend to help them pass the time...

While we were waiting we also were trying to plan the rest of our night. Thats when Lindsey noticed that they were only running the parade once. This was really a bummer. When Lindsey, Megan and I went to MNSSHP we skipped the first parade and went to the second one which was less crowded (granted it was raining but whatever). Another thing that we noticed...the parade started at 9 and it was getting close to that time. We debated on getting out of line and going right to grab a spot for the parade or taking the chance. We decided to wait.

Can you tell from that picture that we are excited to see Capt Jack but nervous about missing the parade?! haha The line started to move and before we knew it we were in the room with Capt. Jack!

And guess what...we made it out for the parade with 15 minutes to spare! We rushed to the hub to grab a spot and we found a great one just in front of the castle facing adventure land.

We heard an announcement welcoming us to the Party and with that the music started and the parade started to head our way. First were the Princess'...

And last but not least the fab 5 came on their own float.

I thought the parade was awesome! It was very cool to see all the horses in the parade and all the costumes were fantastic!!!

We had some time before the fireworks so we went over tomorrowland. There was a character meet going on over by the CoP so she went to join that line while the rest of us went to ride the Buzz ride. After that we noticed Megan was still in line so we figured while the lines were short we would go on astro orbiter.

I've always wanted to do this but the line has always been so long. We joined the short line and then took the elevator up to the loading area. Now if you don't know what this is it's a rocket version of Dumbo and it flies high in the sky over tomorrowland. Now the rockets are no where near the size of the dumbo elephants and they wanted 2 adults per rocket. There was no way that 2 were going to fit. So we each grabbed a rocket. Sadly though there were no rockets left for Jenny. While we flew a CM asked her why she didn't ride with us and she explained that there was no room. He then told her that we could all ride again together with out getting back inline. Well once our ride stopped and the other people got off Lindsey, Julie and myself stayed in our rockets and Jenny grabbed one behind Julie.

I guess someone complained about us because another CM went up to Lindsey asking what we were doing. Jenny explained that the CM said we could stay but the CM that talked to her had left! The girl let us stay and told the father who complained to wait for the next round.

I loved this ride. Yes it's your simple Dumbo but its way up in the sky and it gives you a great view of the Poly, tomorrowland and the castle. It was so beautiful to see everything all lit up!

Once we got off the ride we knew we had to find Megan. Hopefully she wasnt getting nervous waiting for us. We went down to our meeting spot and waited for her. There was a dance party going on not to far from where we were and look who decided to get into the party...

Megan quickly found us and we decided to make our way back to the hub to get a spot for the fireworks. We ended up on the bridge closest to cosmic rays.

The fireworks were fantastic. Seriously the price of the party ticket is worth seeing those fireworks alone. Just awesome and to top it off as we were watching Tinkerbell flew right over our heads. We werent expecting her at all. We thought that she only flew for the Wishes show. That suprised us all and gave me goosebumps!

After the fireworks we had a bunch of rides to hit. First off was space Mt., then Small world, Haunted Mansion, pirates and Big thunder mt railroad. So thats exactly what we did. Oh and we stopped at the treasure spots picking up beads along the way. If you ever get a chance you must ride BTMR at night. It's a total different ride more thrilling and exciting!

Before we knew it it was midnight and the party had come to an end almost as fast as it had started. We walked through the empty fantasyland and I stopped to get this last picture of the decorations...

We then made our way up main street. I wanted to stop in the Emporium to get a P&P party pin. I grabbed that and we decided to call it a night and head out. Once we were out we all said our good byes but it wouldnt be for long though since we had another day of Dis fun coming up!

You should do the keys tour, it was really fun and I thought it was worth the money. Ohhh and thats a bummer that you missed the parades. I guess you can use that as an excuse to go back...haha not like you need one. But just incase.
