Hey everyone! Sorry it has been so long! I'm back and I promise I wont be gone that long again. It's been a pretty crazy fun summer so far! Been down to Boston a couple times, met Paul Pierce (If any of you follow the Celtics you know who he is), now next week I'm going to Foxwoods for one of my friends 21'st b-day and then B and K are coming to visit next month!!!

I'm working on another update and it will be up tonight...I promise!!! Thanks everyone for sticking with me, I know it's been a while.

Ok so where did I leave off? Oh yea back to my room. So I freshened up and watched one of the movie channels and then my phone rang. It was B. They were back and all set to meet up and make plans for the night. I headed down to their room and we started planning. B had a hair braiding appt at 4:00 and then we wanted to go to Toy Story the Musical. So that was the plan. Hair, show, dinner, pirate party. B and I headed up to deck 9 for her appt while K stayed and watched movies in the room.

I loved having those braids. I really wish I could have them all the time. After her appt we made our way back down stairs to find K sound asleep. Well B and I decided we were going to shower and change for dinner and I would call her at 5:30 so we could head up to the show.

Before we knew it was 5:30 and were ready for Toy Story the musical. Well B said 'Musical' a little too loud and once K heard that he was not into that. For some reason he hates musicals so he decided to back out and head up to the arcade. We told him we would meet up with him at dinner and we were going to the show. We made our way up to the Walt Disney theater early and got 3rd row right in the center. Perfect seats! Well before the show someone came out to pep up the crowd. Well he was so funny! He asked if anyone had a camera and I raised up mine (my camera never left my hand) and he posed for me! haha

Then he said pictures are fine just no flash.
Out next came the cruise director to give a talk about how the show was new and that it has been very well recieved. Then finally the show started!

To infinity and BEYOND!

This girl (yes girl, Both Andy and Sid were played by girls) was FANTASTIC! Oh my gosh right on the money!

I can't say enough great things about this show! I LOVED it!!!! I wished they sold the soundtrack because it was so good! They did a great job of taking a non-musical movie and turning it into a musical theater production.

After the show I had the songs stuck in my head. B and I had time before dinner so we checked out the shops and then decided to check out the arcade to see if K was there. Sure enough he was.

Ok so after meeting up with K in the arcade on deck 9 we noticed they were starting to set up for the pirate party tonight.

I was getting excited because I've heard about the party here on the boards and it sounded so fun.
We walked by the jumbo screen and they were showing a High School musical 2 music video!!!

We had to stop and watch a few minutes... I just love this movie!
We were making our way to Goofy's so B could get some ice cream. Yes before dinner...haha. Then we made our way up to deck 10. The sun would be setting soon so we wanted to see that.

The sun was setting and it was so beautiful from sea with the reflection of the water. This picture doesn't do it justice.

Here is another pic of the Jumbo tron. It is the coolest thing it adjusts to the sun. So during the day there is no glair and at night it's nice and bright. Very cool! I was singing along to every song that came on and K surely had something to say about that! lol
After the sun set it was time for dinner so we made our way down to Tritons deck 4 mid ship. We made our way down and the lobby was so crowded. All the characters were out in their pirate garb taking pictures.

We finally made it through the crowd into Tritons. We were shown to our table and our table mates were already there.
The resturant is so beautiful at night. (There are day pictures from a couple of posts ago when I had lunch here).

On our place setting there was a Pirate bandana for us to keep for the party tonight.

Now I can't seem to find the pictures of my food but it was so good. I had a salad to start, salmon for my entree and creme brulee for dessert. Very very good. Now the dinner seemed so rushed tonight. Not on the part of our waiter but everyone at the table. It was the party night so everyone wanted to get up on deck in time. I just felt bad for our waiter since some of the table mates were rushing him so much.

Anyway after dinner B and K wanted to change before the party so I told them I would meet them up on deck. BAD idea!!! I ended up being on deck 10 and I saw them and was trying to wave to get their attention. Well when just about everyone on the ship is up there it makes it kind of hard for people to find you. Lesson learned.

Well anyway the party started and it was pretty much a huge dance party. All the characters were out in their pirate garb and dancing to the music.

All of a sudden the music stopped and captain hook's voice was heard.

Pirates were invading the party!

Pirate Mickey saved the day though. He flew from one smoke stack to another!

And he kicked off the fireworks in the sky.

That was pretty much the end of the party. I walked around trying to find B and K but I had no luck.

I didn't want to go in so I went back down to deck 9 and there were a bunch of chairs set up they were going to be showing Pirates of the Caribbean dead mans chest. Also there was a huge dessert buffet. I just had to stop by that.

This was a very cool ice sculpture of Jack Sparrow.

I hung out on the deck for a while and watched PotC

I started getting tired so I decided to head back in. I made my way through the ship and it was so quiet. I love this pic....Walt and I. Well not really Walt but still cool.

I made it back to my room showered and hit the bed with dreams of Castaway Cay in my head.

Foxwoods is nice they just added a whole new casino the MGM grand. Were mainly going for Bingo since we are crazy for playing that game. We will play the slots too since she will be 21! It's definatly worth a trip sometime!

Thanks! I need to call Disney sometime to see if they have a soundtrack yet! Better yet just book another cruise.

Paul Pierce was very nice. He was doing a signing in Natick at the collections mall. I'm just waiting for the Sox to make their rounds in the signings. If Papelbon is around I'll be there!

You won't believe this, but I completely missed the Pirate Desert Party! I'm still kicking myself about it! We went to the Pirate Party, of couse, but then went back to our room because we were exhausted. I forgot all about the desert buffet, until the next morning. I was so mad at myself! We have to go back so I can enjoy that! The Jack Sparrow ice sculpture is awesome!

The cruise really was amazing. I'm so glad I got to go and that B and K were able to as well.

Haha I need to win too! I don't think I could ever do a 7 night solo. That single travel price would kill me plus the flight and everything else. B can't afford it right now and none of my other friends are into the Disney cruise idea!

Thanks Megan! Don't wish for the time to fly too fast. Before you know it, it will be over. I miss counting the days till my cruise. Those four days on the ship really do FLY by.

Ok so when I woke up the next morning I quickly got dressed because I wanted to see us pulling into Castaway Cay. Turns out I was too late but I got to see the beautiful island with out any visitors on it. My gosh is the island beautiful! The weather was perfect and I couldn't wait to get off and explore. I decided to make my way back in and give B and K a call since I hadnt talked to them since dinner and see if they were ready to go. Turns out K was still in bed but she was going to get him up and we were going to meet up at beach blanket in 30 minutes. While they were getting ready I decided to go pay my tips at guest services. When I went up there....no line! Awesome! I've heard about the lines here on the boards so I'm glad I missed them. I paid my tips and mentioned to the guy that I never got my $50 on board credit on my account for using my Disney Visa to book the cruise. He made a quick phone call and within 5 minutes it was applied to my account! So after some wandering of the ship it was about time to meet up at Beach blanket. I made my way up there and ended up meeting B and K in the elevator.

We ate our mickey waffles and not much else because we were so excited to get off onto the island. We went up to deck 10 for some pictures.

After K wanted to play some ping pong on deck 9. He wanted to for the past couple days and all the tables were being used. Well sure enough there was a table open so he grabbed it up quick and we played 2 on 1 for a bit. Then it was time for us to grab our stuff and head out to the island!!!!

With a quick stop by our rooms we were off. And by the time we made it to the door out B realized she forgot something in the room. Her and K told me to go ahead and wait for them on the outside while they went back. So I made my way out. The warm morning Bahama sun felt soooo good!

It felt like I waited forever...so I took some pics...

Then there they were! K said they had to go back another time after because B forgot the sunscreen. I guess she was so excited to get out there that she was very forgetful. Anyway we were finally really off this time.

Welcome to Paradise...

It's kind of a long walk from the dock to the main part of the island. You can either take a tram or just walk so we decided to walk and I'm so glad we did. As we were walking there was a patch of sand in the shade and guess who was there?! Capt Jack Sparrow!!!! And the best part...NO line! B and I wanted to stop and get our picture taken K wanted No part of it. He stood back and shook his head (guys just don't get it). You best believe we got our picture taken. It was the best character interaction ever. He was amazed by our braids and kept asking if we had some rum.
There was a DCL photographer there too and we ended up buying that picture too because it showed the flying dutchman in the background too. Plus it came in a really nice portfolio with the Capt. Jack pic of us AND a Disney Wonder photo for $21. Good deal!
Anyway here is the pic that K took of us. And if you look in the back on the left you can see pluto riding a cart up to the ship.

Up next we reach the main part of the Island and Beach time!!!

After leaving Capt Jack we made our way toward the main part of the island. With a quick stop at the drink counter we were off to the beach. My gosh was the water beautiful. I couldn't believe how clear blue it actually was. Here in NH the water is a dark blue and you can't even see your own feet.

The whole time on the beach we wondered how the lifeguards got to their tall chairs in the middle of the ocean. Well K guessed that they took jet skis, B said they swam and I said took a raft well after a while we found our answer and guess who was right?

Yup me! lol

After hanging on the beach for quite a while we were getting hungry. So of course we headed to cookies BBQ.

Mmmm it was so good. There was the usual Hot dogs, burgers, chicken, fruit, chips, salads.
We grabbed a table under a colorful umbrella and enjoyed our lunch. Lilo and Stitch came by and were doing some kind of hula dance lesson with a bunch of kids.
