What are the families with 4 kids doing? Like an adult and 4 children, what are they doing if ticketmaster wont let them buy more than 4 tickets? that doesn't seem very fair.
ALSO, a friend went to a local ticketmaster place this morning and got herself 4 tickets, in the nosebleed section, but the scalpers were there, drove here all the way from Chicago. They pay in cash, so their address doesn't get traced. After my friend bought her tickets (4 together) the scalpers immediately offered her double the amount for her tickets. Can you believe that? Obviously she said no, but they stood there asking people to sell their tickets.
ALSO, one more question. If a person buys 4 tickets for presale and then another 4 during general sale, and uses a different email address, and mailing address, how is ticket master going to find out? I mean, these scalpers have people all over the United States I'm sure..... just me thinking out loud.

I got some seats (not good seats, but seats) during the presale.... I actually tried again this am for my neighbor and her 2 girls, but had no luck..... I feel really bad......

I know kids have to realize they can't have everything, but it broke my heart to tell my nieces no one had any luck.

I went through the same thing!! I had both desktops and the laptop going and 3 friends at home on their computers. We got NOTHING!! At 10:02 it said no seats available. How is that possible??! And why is it that at 9:40 there were tickets being sold on all the scalper sites and ebay??? My 3 DDs are so disappointed!!

For those of you who were actually lucky enough to get tickets..... Congrats! However, i have a question, and hopefully even though I'm a newbie to the boards, someone will answer....
For those of you who DID get tickets....
what option did you select for your tickets? Print option, or mailing them?
AND if they are mailing them, how long did it take for you to receive them, and did Ticketmaster send you an email telling you they sent them?
I got tickets on tuesday, they already charged my credit card, but the status says, your order is being processed and tickets are being printed.... I know the site says 48 hours before the concert, but I know they dont wait that long to actually send the tickets to you...
so if you've already gotten your tickets, how long did it take?
Thanks in advance for answers...... I haven't been so lucky with getting responses from the disboards lately.

I haven't gotten my tickets yet, but I selected the mail option. I didn't want to risk my faulty printer having to do the job! LOL As soon as I get them, I'll post.

None in Pittsburgh either, and I was on as soon as it opened.

I didn't get any for Pittsburgh either. There were only 11,000 tickets 1/2 of which were sold on Tuesday. 5500 tickets isn't a lot. DD is really disappointed.

My husband and I were both (two different computers)on ticketmasters site at 10am and there were no tickets avail for NJ. I'm glad I didn't mention it to DD

I selected to have ticketmastr send me my tickets. i don't know how it will work for this show but in the past i got an email from ticket master saying that my tickets had printed and about 2 or 3 days later they came.

I usually got the email about a week or 7 business days after the tickets were purchased. i will let you know when i get my tickets.

Hi!

I chose the mail option. Since I had the confirmationation e-mail, I knew that my order had processed. Our concert is in Cincinnati, OH. Our pre-sale was on September 11 and I believed I received them in the mail on or after the
19th. Someone else had posted that they came in a plain envelope with a West Virginia return address. So be careful not to overlook them as junk mail!

Congrats on the tixs. My DD12 is getting her tickets as an early B'day gift!

I am just nervous until I actually have those tickets in my hand. You know, with all the hype in town, and with people so crazy over these tickets. And now I'm thinking our mail lady is NOT very dependable... we live in the country, so sometimes mail gets lost, so now I'm putting myself into my own little panic mode....

My DD is turning 7 on October 24th and these are for her birthday, so I'm hoping I have them in my hand by then, I dont even want to tell her I got them until I have the hard copy in hand.

I mean, I have the confirmation email, and they have already taken the money out of my credit card, but again, I selected the mail option and am now waiting. I know, just being paranoid on my part, but still.... until those "golden" tickets are in hand, I'm going to be nervous.

I'm with you on wanting them "in hand". my cc has also been charged and I have the email saying that I bought tickets but they still say "printing" on the ticketmaster site. Hopefully, they will turn up next week. maggie

I got four tickets for the presale. Then to surprise my kids a friend ordered tickets and used my address to get them for us. She used my address. What should I do are they going to cancel one set the second set is better than the first. Should I call them?????

I did manage to get tix for Newark, but I was on Ticketmaster and signed in from about 9:50 and just kept refreshing my screen. At exactly 10am I put in 3 tix, best available. We are all the way in the nosebleeds to the complete left of the stage. All that for $170, I'm not sure this is worth it, but DS was excited. I didn't even check my seats until after I paid.

At 10:02 I tried to get 2 more tickets for my neice, but they were sold out.

I'm sorry you didn't get any, but it is a lot of money and I think I got caught up in the DIS "hype".

I can't believe it!! I got 2 tickets today for the Atlanta/Duluth GA concert! I tried once and nothing, then I tried again and omg i got them!!


I told my DD and she had tears of joy!

For anyone interested...they released 2,000 (I think? ) tickets to the Charlotte concert today at noon. I was able to get 4 for my dh's Sergeant! Good luck for anyone still trying...

Congratulations! Whoo Hoo! I know how you feel! I was able to get 2 tix for Greensboro today - the show is this Sunday! I'm so excited too - don't you just feel like jumping up and down?

And I'm not going to tell DD, just gonna take her and let it be a surprise!
