Especially games. They could be worth a BOMB in a few years. For example, I bought a copy of Evil Twin for the Dreamcast, back in the day, for £40. Sold it for £75 - a bargain, I thought. Not so. Now if goes for upwards of £200! And the price just keeps rising - they're to making any new ones and copies in good condition diminish every day. Older consoles follow the same pattern, squared. Conkers Bad Fur Day, mint complete in box for the N64 could go for over £250. I've seen one sell for over £450 in sealed condition.

Are any old Nintendo games collectible too? Because I know some people collect old Nintendo games and there is a huge market for collecting them. I also heard that if you have the Pokemon Pikachu limited edition Nintendo 64 system it is very rare because very few of them were made and are very rare to find. I also learned that if you have the Gameboy Advance game Madden 2004 it is very rare and has gone up in value since John Madden's death. Is this true?

Remember though "things" are only worth what someone else is willing to pay for them. A lot of times people buy things because they will be worth a lot someday. And then someday comes and no one wants to buy to buy them.

I went to a games convention in Philly and it was incredible how high some prices were on old things that had passed through my family. I remember back in the day (10-15yrs ago) Gamestop used to have huge displays full of used games to sell. Many were $1 or $2, and most less than $10. Would be a gold mine today.
