I've visited the fort many times but never have had to know this information until now. In the handicap shower stall is there any kind of bench in the shower? thanks in advance for your help :)

Yes. There is a handicap stall with a folding bench.

For the men's stall (at least) there is no real "Outer" section. like there is for the regular stalls. By this I mean the regular stalls have a seating/waiting area outside the stalls (also for the handicap stall) but then you enter the stall and there is a small bench and hook. You can close the door and "Change" in this area (although tight space). You then walk into the regular shower area and there is a curtain between the shower and the changing area.

For the Handicap stall, there is the door and a larger open area. By the shower there is a bench that can fold down from the wall by the shower head, but there is no real changing area/bench or hooks (or at least that I saw) in the stall. So if you want your towel off the ground, you have to drape it over the wall/door. There is no place to really hang your clothes/robe/etc though. There are hooks outside the stall in the "Waiting" area where there is also room to change as well.

Hope this helps.

Thank you!!! that was exactly what kind of information i was looking for about them! :D

If there is one thing that Disney needs to do to make the campground better is add hooks to the changing area of the shower stalls.
I soooo agree with that. Nothing like trying to pile clothes, towels, etc... on a small bench and hope it doesn't fall on a wet floor.

I think what I need to do is purchase one of these and take it with me.

Maybe that should go in the "Must Haves" section! :)
