Hampton Lakes

We are renting a house in Hampton lakes for our next WDW vacation and we are very excited. Has anyone every stayed there and if so any info you can give me would be greatly appreciated? This is our first time not staying in a hotel and after seeing the pictures of the house and after getting a price I may never stay in a hotel again.

Gette,Hampton Lakes is a great place! We rented a house this past December and it was wonderful.We really liked the area and the house was big and beautiful. (villaraymar.com).It's very quiet and they have a public pool,playground,and game room (though I did not see or use them).We really enjoyed the house and area so much we wanted to rent there again this year but the house was already rented. I think you are going to enjoy it emmensely.
It was our first time renting a home too and we will not be going back to hotels! On or off-site....
If you can give me the website to the home you rented I would love to take a look? Did it take long to decide which house you wanted to rent? I looked at tons of them before I could decide. And it's fun too!
Are you renting a car? Or using a limousine service? We rented a car in December and have decided on a limousine service for this August.Can't wait! I like to kick back and not have to worry about driving.I thinks it's a little less stressful and since we decided not to do the parks this time it works out great.

Hi Debbie, my DH's cousin owns the home so we are renting directly from him. He sent me pic's and it's beauiful, 4 bedrooms, 3 bths, living room, family room, dining room, kitchen, screened in pool. I think he gave us a good deal which is great because we bought a trailer and we're keeping it in Cape May all summer which would of made it harder to go to WDW. We're not going to WDW until next summer but will still have to pay for our seasonal site at the shore. Oh, and we will be driving down, DD hates to fly and she's going to bring a friend who may not of been able to go if she had to have airfare. I have two DD's 13 and 4 so the game room and playground may come in handy. thanks for the info. I wish we were going this summer.

Gette,Your so lucky having a relative with a vacation home! It must be great! The house sounds wonderful. It's nice to have a private pool all to your selves!
Cape May is such a nice place!Now you are talking about Cape May,NJ? Not meaning to sound stupid but sometimes there are more than just one. We used to go down there every year with friends and it was a great place to vacation.So much to see and do. Good luck with your plans! Hope you really have a great time!
