We are planning to go on Halloween (otherwise known as Nevada Day to us Las Vegans)

DS will be either Roo or Piglet (bought both costumes way cheap from the Disney Shopping Outlet).

I would like to be Kanga but will have to see if I can craft together a costume as I cannot find one for sale.

DH will likely be either Pooh Bear or Tigger.

Can't wait! We were there last year on a MHT night but didn't have tickets. I am excited to participate this year!

Me, my DH, DD(4) & DD(3) will be there on October 16th. Got my tickets yesterday. We can't wait, as we have never been to this party before. We are trying to figure out a family costume that will please everyone and won't be too expensive.

Why did you get kicked out last year?

Well I decided to go as a Dapper Dan and their costume consists of regular clothes (pants, vest, shirt) in which I could go in to the park w/out any problems. One big thing that got me in trouble was that my friend let me use his CM badge as a part of my costume so when I went in a store, a CM told me I couldn't be in there and then discovered that it wasn't mine so he tood away the badge. Then he decided to go postal and called security when he wasn't going to in the first place. Then a million of them came and one security guy said I looked too much like a Dapper Dan even though I'm a girl and all the other guards that were there didn't even care and was just standing around. So after a million yrs of standing around, he told me take off the vest and he let me go. But the person in charge of the Dapper Dans saw my costume and loved it and wanted me to meet them. So after the security incident, I got to meet the Dapper Dans and they loved my costume too and wanted to get a pic w/ me. But the big thing was, was that since it was Halloween, their costume was a different color so how could anyone even mistake me for them?!? Plus, not everyone knows who the Dapper Dans are. So the CM from the store saw that I was there taking a pic w/ the Dans and called security AGAIN so when we were done, the anal guard came and told his supervisor (who was nicer than he was, maybe bc she was a girl; I dunno) but since we were just waiting to go into the then Mickey's Halloween Treat, she told me and my family to leave DL. Boy was I pissed at the CMs, but I love the Dapper Dans! They were so nice.

Im not that familiar with the Dapper Dans ....they are a singing group correct? hmmm. seems like they could have spoke up for you and told security they asked you to take the pics...idk

Yes...thats is correct I purchased mine about 3 weeks ago and they were in the mail over a week ago...with my disney visa

Well it technically wasn't a "costume" bc only kiddies can wear costumes. It was just some clothes that I put together so I looked like a Dapper Dan in which I really didn't look like them at the time bc their costumes were different. Plus, I was hanging out w/ my parents who just looked like themselves for the party and didn't dress up. So you know I just looked like a big ball of trouble.
