Does DL do anything like WDW's MNSSHP? If so does anyone have any details?

<font color=navy>Not on the scale that WDW does. DL tried twice to have a Halloween event with trick or treating, special attractions (like cms dressed as pirates in pirates of the caribbean, etc.), but there weren't really enough guests to warrant all of that -- there is too much competition with Knotts, Universal Studios, and Magic Mountain.

However, in October, they do revamp the Haunted Mansion to the Nightmare Before Christmas, and that is very popular.

I've heard rumors that they might try a Halloween event again this year, but not sure.

We were are DLR on Halloween 2002 and had a blast. Universal was not doing anything special and Knotts I heard from many is a teen mad house. They do up the Haunted Mansion and add more every year so it is a little different each time. We were not allowed to wear costumes into the parks due to security issues. But kids got to trick or treat and there were ALOT of people dressed up in the Downtown Disney area. The weather was perfect, would do it again in a heartbeat.:smooth:

Do they just have a special something the night of Halloween or are they similar to WDW MNSSHP - every weekend in October type of deal and are there special tickets you have t purchase?

Not that I know of. You could always call the park info number and find out. But we didn't see anything special.
