Halloween Quest PTR~~THE TRIP IS OFFICIALLY OFF!

This is the part that concerns me.....I've never received ONE thing from the IRS. I called & know they received it & were working on it....but that's it! I'd love to have a "date" to know when to expect it....this waiting & not knowing is driving me nuts!!!

We'll arrive on Saturday the 1st in the afternoon......so outside of the parks I could come find you or Sunday morning......we'll figure it out when the time gets closer!!!

Derek's cool with waiting. Hopefully he'll be feeling up for it. He was playing basketball & took a shoulder to his ear. He's been miserable.....headache, ringing ears, etc. He's had 2 concussions before & it always worries me when it gets hit in the head. He's at work & is miserable.......he's not having a very good day!

If it was easy to actually get a hold of who you needed to talk to, I would. Last time it took 2 different phone calls with wait times of over 30 mins each. The only info they could give me was, we have it & it's been worked on. Estimated 12-16 weeks to receive it. We're in 14 weeks now.

Hi Michele. Patience is a virtue not many of us are blessed with . I'm looking forward to getting my Duffy.... He will meet my DTD Build a bear "Daisy".

Expecting money is always the hardest thing to be patient about.....you know it's coming & you want it now, now, now!!!!!

Laurie, all this talk about taxes got me in gear to print the final stuff for Kacy's Pell Grant. It is approved and all but, they needed the final stuff. Yay for that working smoothly.

I have never met Kaoden, I have followed your tr though . I am so thrilled when I see students wanting to attend college but needing help with funding get the Pell grants. Best part is no pay back. Got to love when the funds recieved ends with the word grant. My daughter turned in for a Pell grant and was told she did not qualify. I was so well ok just gonna say it pissed. I am not sure why at 18 you are an adult unless you want to attend college then you are dependent on parents for funding that education. Even is she would have moved out and been on her own we would still have had to pay for the first 12 months after she moved out. ******* I am sure the people that thought that up are the ones now trying to do budget for U S. This is not a good thing.

Hi Patty, I was amazed that Kacy qualified and I am so thankful that she did. I honestly was amazed that she qualified and was pleasantly surprised especially when all of her classes were already paid for. It took a huge weight off of us. We have two more that are in high school so there seems to constantly be money flying out of the house. That stinks about your daughter, I don't understand why when they are old enough to fight and die for their country but, mom and dad have to struggle for college. I would bet they are the same people. Did they not attend kindergarten? They seemed to have missed out on those important lessons in life.

I arrive before you on Sept 29 and I am there through Oct 4...

Jessica is driving down Sunday the 2nd and staying till Oct 4th...
